Car description

Genuine Rallye car, verified with original fender tag. Born with desirable features including a/c, power steering and disc brakes. I think it is exceptionally clean throughout.
EXTERIOR: This is one good looking car. Everything about it from the stance, colors, features and the condition. First of all the body the absolutely straight. I'm watlking around it right now and it looks great from every angle. It fits really well, the panels are square and flush. The metal flake is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished smooth, very glossy. It has the sport hood with the blackout stripe. It also has fender mounted turn signal indicators and sport mirrors. Upfront the chrome bumper and trim looks new. The grill is excellent. The marker lights, door handles, pop up gas cap look new. The stainless trim around the windows and wheel wells are new. In back the bumper has been rechromed, the tail panel is restored nice. The original lenses have some age cracks. It also has the correct square chrome exhaust tips coming through the valance. The vinyl roof is excellent. The glass is nice and clear. It has a set of 15 inch Rallye wheels with BFGoodrich tires that are taller in the back. The door jambs are painted real nicely, bottom of doors are rust free. It still has the VIN number decal, new weatherstrips and sill plates. The latches are clean.
INTERIOR: Now I'm inside the car. The interior was gutted and lined on sound deadener. The dash pad is new. The instrument panel is excellent and has the full Rallye gauge package. Clock has quartz movement. Heater control panel looks new. It has the original AM radio. The sport steering wheel is not worn at all. The center console is in excellent shape, has slapstick shifter. Carpet has been replaced. The seats have been reupholstered front and back. Overhead the headliner looks new and it's tight. Dome light works, visors are excellent. All the plastic trim- side panels, kick panels, console, shift handle, rear window trim is excellent.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 340 motor was rebuilt with some mild performance upgrades. It has an aluminum intake with an Edelbrock carb and electric choke. Dressed up with a matched set of finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. New Vintage Air heat and air conditioning system. The motor runs cool with what looks like a new radiator, shroud and clutch fan. Other features include power steering and brakes. The engine bay is painted is real, metal nothing looks damaged or rusted. It is painted real nice, the same B5 blue. The original fender tag is still attached, the VIN number on the cowl mat has the car. All the components look real clean. The battery is bolted down properly, it has it's horns, washer bottle is hooked up, has hood insulation.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Looks to be rock solid. Very nice first impression, I would say show quality. It has the collapsible spare with the air bottle. The jack is mounted in the proper location. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as glossy as the exterior. It has working trunk light, reproduction decal and new weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: The front end has been completely rebuilt with new ball joints, bushings, shocks and all the components are detailed in their proper finishes. It has a sway bar in front. In back the shocks look like they've been replaced recently. Looking up at the motor it is clean. It has a high torque starter. Automatic transmission looks clean too. It has dual Flowmaster exhaust system with the correct square tips coming through the valance. New fuel tank, straps and sending unit. Brakes have been redone, hoses look new. There are disc in front, the E-brake assembly looks complete. The bottom of the car appears to be real solid, it looks like it has it's factory floor pans and frame rails.
I would own this car. Its sharp to look at, sounds great, has great features and it is exceptionally clean throughout.
