Car description

I'm selling my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 completely stock original car. The color is OEM Q5 Bright Metallic Turquoise. Black vinyl top. black interior with bucket seats and center console. The engine and transmission are original to the car. The engine has just under 55. 00 origins miles on it. When unleaded gas replaced leaded fuel here in the late 70's the stock 10. 5:1 ratio pistons were replaced with 9:1 ratio pistons and hardened valves. The original Carter AVS carburetor was replaced with a Holley 700 cfm better suited for the new fuel. The original carb comes with the car. A mild "RV" cam was also installed at this time. Overall. these changes closely maintained the factory performance parameters. This work was done in 1975. I have the receipt for this. All drive train and brake components have been rebuilt or replaced. The transmission was rebuilt at the time of purchase to include better internals and a mild shift kit. All of the wheel cylinders were replaced. The sloppy factory PS steering box was replaced with a FirmFeel II unit and a new Mopar Performance front sway bar was installed. After the transmission was reinstalled a complete new Accurate Exhaust system was installed exactly matching the factory system to include the factory chrome tips. The gas tank and filler tube are new. The car has standard KYB shocks in the front and Monroe air shocks in back. The only mechanical additions I've added were new Mopar Performance OE rear springs and front torsion bars. A Master Power Brake "Legend Series" power front disk brake conversion including a new master cylinder was also installed. These 3 upgrades were done late last year. The PDB were an option for this car so it's true to what was available from the factory. The interior is new top to bottom with Legendary Interior upholstery products. It has a Tic Toc Tac. original rally steering wheel (no cracks). and a "Dashy" brand dash mat covering its pristine condition dash pad. The car was always kept garaged by the original owner and myself. The car was purchased from Hillsdale Dodge in the SF Bay Area. The dealer added an "engine dress up" package which consistedof chrome valve covers. accessory brackets and fan belt pulley. Everything inside and out functions as new. The heater/defroster box was thoroughly rebuilt. The grille assembly was completely restored and a new front lights/vacuum hose harness installed. A "SecretAudio" brand stereo system was installed as well to include 2 Polk Audio 5x7" speakers in the package tray. There are existing 6 1/2" speakers in each door and comes with an older iPod. The car came with a basic AM radio which works but the frequency tuning knob doesn't move the indicator. It functioned when I acquired the car so I suspect the internal cable that moves the indicator needs adjustment or replacement. The car has never left California. This car has never been in an accident nor has it ever had any rust issues. All body panels are original to the car. The jack and tools are complete and original to the car. The chassis of the car was undercoated from the factory and is in excellent condition. If you have further questions with regard to any other parts replaced or refurbished. more pictures etc please contact me. I have the complete service and parts history of this car from the original purchase. owners manual. both build sheets. original loan papers etc. It comes with a complete photo documentation of all paint and upholstery restoration work. Virtually everything on the car is new. The car is in truly exceptional condition top to bottom. The restoration was completed in May of 2010. An original 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 like this one are few and far between. I bought this car from the original owner and family friend. This car has won many awards and is truly a #9 car. The price is $70. 00. 00 Thank you forreading my ad.
