Car description

Up for sale I have my 1953 dodge meadowbrook. I have had the car for a few years and fixed a few things but never got into restoring it. I bought it with the intent to restore but my health will not allow it. The Car runs and drives and stops on its on. Please use the pictures to make your best judgment on the quality of the car or come and see it in person. I will do my best to answer questions. I could go out right now start and drive the car. I will list the items i know are in need of repair but there may be more i miss the car is forsale WHERE is AS IS. The gas gauge needs replaced i had the tank cleaned and new sending unit installed but still doesnt work so the gauge itself needs replaced. I replaced the original radiator with an aluminum one but i do have the original to go with the car. The spring on the drivers windshield wiper is broke so needs wiper arm replaced. I never installed the chrome on the car it was off when i bought it but i do have the chrome to go with the car i believe its all there but not sure. Car has new tires and new heater core and heater control valve. Recent issue which i havent looked into is while driving at night my lights were dimming so its safe to say it will need the generator rebuilt or replaced because a year ago i replaced the regulator. The wiring on the car is in need or repair it functions and works but the wires are brittle. I have just been replacing them as they give me trouble. Carburetor was replaced with a rebuilt unit and functions nice. The gyromatic trans shifts as it should and everything works, The motor does smoke a little from time to time but was never rebuilt and starts right up and is quite. You can see in the photos the rust on the drivers rocker, some of it is right by the drivers floor. Otherwise the underside of the car and frame are in good shape. I have had the car on a lift a few times. The rear of the car is lowered with lowering blocks and could be removed very easy for the stock appearance and ride.
Would be a great car to hotrod or to restore or fix a few things and drive as it is. I would not recommend driving the car home with the recent generator issue but we can drive it around locally. Car should be trailered.
Interior is in decent shape, missing one rubber door sill by drivers side and two of the window laces are falling out but can be put back in.
