Car description

Rarely seen real numbers matching engine and drivetrain Dodge Dart GTS. Car #480 in the Dart Registry. 33,354 original miles. Built in Los Angeles assembly plant on 9/26/67. One of only 4232 built for the year 1968.

BODY: pin straight body panels stated in the past as all original sheet metal. All alignments are correct.

DRIVE TRAIN: original numbers matching 340 / 275 hp 4bbl (52) with 727 Torque-Flight transmission (5). 3.23 original rear gears are replaced with 3.55 I have been told. 26" radiator (A) to keep it cool. Block date is 3/19/67.

PAINT: 1999 repaint of the original (SS1) yellow with Black Bumble Bee stripe. Paint has no major flaws. Shines well. One peck/dent in left rear quarter panel years ago. Touched up. See photo. Black vinyl top (W9) is mint, but claimed as original I am told.

INTERIOR: Black vinyl buckets (B4) are beautiful. Original console (A6) and bright work. Super nice interior. Nice carpet. Steering wheel has a cigarette burn melt mark in it. Just like my dads did back in the day. Too cool if you ask me.

ELECTRICAL: all items work including the 3 speed wipers (Y6) and original am radio (R1). Dealer optioned column Tachometer works fine too.

BRIGHT WORK: all chrome and bright work are original and in excellent shape. Outside driver remote mirror (M6)

GLASS: Tinted windshield (X2) and all other glass appears original with Chrysler/Dodge markings.

UNDERCARRIAGE: the bottom of the car looks as good as the top side. Fully detailed and restored correctly.

MECHANICAL: This car starts, runs and stops without issue. Strong running car. Power steering and power brakes operate as they should. Heavy duty suspension with sway bar (C4). Brand new custom high-pressure power steering hose. Car is super easy and fun to drive.

AWARDS: Best A body. Mopars at the Marina, 2018. Mobile, AL. This car is feature car on the t shirt sold at the event. I have a shirt from that show that goes with car.

MISC: Notebook of receipts and documentation. Car cover. Battery tender. Reproduction window sticker. Owners manual.

*I got codes from 1967-68 Mopar fender tag decoder site. I do not guarantee accuracy.
