Car description

YOU ARE VIEWING A SUPER COOL 1969 DODGE CHARGER. THIS IS A PERIOD CORRECT '70s STREET RACER/HOT ROD! THE CAR WAS RESTORED MANY YEARS AGO AND IS STILL IN VERY SOLID "DRIVER" CONDITION. I BOUGHT THE CAR AND DROVE IT AROUND TO SOME LOCAL CRUISE INS AND THEN DECIDED I WOULD PULL THE ENGINE OUT AND DETAIL IT AND THE ENGINE BAY, ETC. I JUST HAVEN'T HAD TIME OR THE SPACE TO GET TO THIS CAR SO I'M OFFERING IT FOR SALE HERE WITH THE HOPE THAT SOMEONE CAN TAKE OVER THIS EASY PROJECT. THE MOTOR IS STILL IN THE CAR BUT I UNHOOKED THE FUEL LINES, REMOVED THE RADIATOR, BATTERY, HOOD, ETC. IN PREPARATION FOR REMOVING THE ENGINE. I HAVE EVERY SINGLE PART, NUTS, BOLTS, ETC. TO PUT THE CAR BACK TOGETHER UNDER THE HOOD. I ALSO INCLUDED SOME VIDEO OF THE CAR RUNNING SO THAT YOU CAN HEAR HOW HEALTHY THE ENGINE IS. HERE ARE SOME DETAILS ABOUT THE CAR,

  • 440 HP MOTOR BUILT (CASTING NUMBERS MAKE IT A 68 MOTOR I BELIEVE)
  • PP 833 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION FROM '68
  • 742 8 3/4 REAR END WITH SURE GRIP AND 3.55 GEARS
  • MOROSO OIL PAN
  • LAKEWOOD BELLHOUSING
  • TRACTION BARS
  • TUNNEL RAM AND 4 BARRELL CARB SET-UPS INCLUDED
  • HEADERS
  • 3 INCH DUAL EXHAUST
  • VINTAGE AMERICAN RACING 200S MAG WHEELS
  • AFTERMARKET TACH AND GAUGES
  • BUCKET SEATS FROM '70 CHARGER
  • ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP
  • HIDDEN HEADLIGHTS
  • HOOD PINS
  • ORIGINAL VINYL TOP
  • NEW CARPET KIT
  • ETC.

THIS CHARGER HAS A VERY SOLID BODY WITH GOOD FLOORS, TRUNK, FRAME RAILS, ETC. THE CAR HAD LOWER QUARTERS REPLACED MANY YEARS AGO AND THE HEMI ORANGE PAINT IS PROBABLY 20+ YEARS OLD BUT STILL LOOKS GOOD. I WOULD CALL THE OVERALL APPEARANCE OF THE CAR DRIVE QUALITY. I HAD NO PLANS OF DOING ANY COSMETICS ON THE CAR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ENGINE BAY. I REALLY LIKE THE PATINA OF THE CAR AND JUST WANTED TO CLEAN UP THE MOTOR AND ENGINE BAY BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO PUT THE TUNNEL RAM BACK ON THE CAR AND RUN IT WITH NO HOOD. THE MOTOR AND TRANS. REAR END, ETC. ARE ALL VERY HEALTHY. THE CAR WAS RUNNING VERY WELL AND I JUST HAD REPLACED THE BRAKE MASTER CYCLINDER TOO BEFORE I DECIDED TO START ON THE MOTOR REMOVAL. THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN THIS CONDITION NOW FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS AND I HAVE EVERY PART FOR THE CAR TO MAKE IT RUN AGAIN. THIS IS AN EASY PROJECT FOR SOMEONE AND WILL MAKE A GREAT CRUISE IN MUSCLE CAR. I HAVE A CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE AS WELL FOR THE CAR.

PLEASE DO A YOUTUBE SEARCH FOR 1969 CHARGER HEMI ORANGE RANDY GILBERT TO HEAR THE CAR RUN.

MANY OF MY AUCTIONS END WITH JUST A PHONE CALL. I CAN ARRANGE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. 205-276-1918
