Car description

1974 Dodge Charger SE, bought off the original owner last fall who ordered it new back in 1974, have original title, window sticker, check carbons, manual, warranty card, everything that went with it. Highly optioned car with 2 fender tags including power windows, sunroof, dual chrome mirrors and all trim pieces intact. Original special order plum crazy purple with a black interior. Car was parked in unheated indoor storage in 1992 and not driven until now. It is an original survivor car. The old aftermarket thing the original owner did was install a Kenwood stereo probably in the 80's.

To get it driving again here is what was done this year:
1.) Complete new fuel system including gas tank, sending unit, filler neck, Carter fuel pump, Wix fuel filter, all supply and return lines.2.) Complete new brake system including master cylinder, drums, shoes, Powerstop cross drilled rotors, calipers, wheel bearings, Raybestos pads, and all hydraulic brake line3.) New water pump, belts, hoses, clamps, flush fill4.) New transmission filter, pan gasket, shifter seal, fluid5.) Tune-up including distributor cap, rotor, Iridium plugs, coil, ignition wires, air filter
6.) New KYB shocks front and rear7.) New battery, tray, and hold down

It fires right up cold and runs smooth, no smoke or burning oil, transmission shifts strong. To get at the water pump I removed the A/C and did not reinstall as it wasn't working, all parts are included. It has surface rust on the chassis, it was factory undercoated so it is all pretty solid but could use a cleaning and detail. Paint is oxidized, has a rust spot on rear of the deck lid and top of left fender. There are rust holes in the rear wheel wells by the rockers which have rust behind the trim. The interior is in amazing condition for its age and is original, no rips, no cracks, no issues. Vinyl top is perfect. The only thing that it really needs at this time is the needs an alignment which I'll do within the next month unless its sold and windshield wiper arm linkage needs a retainer clip. Tailights were just refinished, working on the front grills now, also removed the bumper guards but those are included too. Rear bumper was also tucked, spacer fillers and original brackets also included. Only reason that I am selling is I don't have the financial means to do a proper restoration which this car really deserves.
