This Restomod has the best of everything from a fuel-injected dual-quad 528ci Hemi to air conditioning and a brand-new traction-grabbing suspension that delivers a Cadillac ride! Fresh from its debut at last weekend's Cleveland’s 2018 ISCA Piston-Powered Autorama – where it won ISCA FIrst Place in 1960 - 1969 Division and another award for Outstanding Paint. They will hear you coming with that Hemi rumble and turn their heads to watch in awe as you cruise by in cool modern comfort. No disappointments on this frame off nut-and-bolt restoration! 95% of this car is all NEW parts! She is Turnkey!

This is a brand-new build! It is done as a ‘69 Charger R/T with a newly-built old-school 528ci hemi, FiTech dual-quad fuel-injection system, brand-new 5-speed manual Tremec overdrive trans with hydraulic clutch and pistol grip shifter, Dana 4:11 posi rearend, AlterKation coil adjustable suspension all the way around with 4-link set-up on the rearend, Wilwood power disc brakes, power rack-and-pinion steering and that all-important air conditioning!

Here’s the low down on this build…

The car was originally a 383ci auto car from Arizona and had been sitting since the 90’s. The car’s current colors are the original combination it was born with… Bright Turquoise Poly, white vinyl top and white bucket-seat interior. Other factory options were power steering, power disc brakes, A/C, console, buckets, 6-way driver’s seat and tinted glass.

Current state of the Charger…

95% of parts are all new!

Body: The car is sporting an all-new AMD exterior sheetmetal body from roof down and from bump to bumper. The frame rails, inner fenders, rockers and floors are original. I replaced all the original body panels which were rust-free but too dented to repair without lots of filler. The vinyl top had dried out and cracked, allowing moisture to get in and rust the roof – so I replaced the metal roof too. There is NO RUST or Filler in this 100% new body! The body is super-straight with excellent body gaps. The show-quality Bright Turquoise Poly paint is the original color and is done beautifully! It is a base-coat clear-coat PPG system and was painted 1/2017. It is just stunning in the sun!! The car was blocked several times, color-sanded, resprayed, cleared, wet-sanded and buffed. Most of the chrome is original and restored with some new pieces. All-new weatherstripping, all-new tinted glass and new vinyl top!

Interior: The interior is the factory Pearl White and everything in the interior is new from the headliner to the carpeting. The front bucket seats are from a ‘73 Duster to give it a more sporty look. All-new dash wiring, dash pad and custom steering wheel have been installed. Everything works! The air conditioning system is aftermarket using the factory controller. Dynamat was installed under the carpet. The AM/FM stereo is a factory-style new aftermarket system with BLUETOOTH and front and rear speakers.

Drivetrain: The motor is custom-built using a Mopar Performance bare 528ci block and aluminum heads. The internals are all-forged Eagle crank and rods with custom-built forged pistons from Ross. Compression is around 10:75-to-1 and runs on pump gas. The Mopar aluminum heads have aftermarket stainless valves, springs and full custom roller adjustable rocker shafts. The cam is just a standard hydraulic flat-tappet purple cam. Nothing radical. Just great performance for street and strip. Motor also has a high-volume, high-pressure oil pump and a high-flow water pump. The FiTech 1,200hp fuel-injection system runs beautifully! The system controls the ignition system which, with one turn of the key, runs like a modern car. Everything can be adjusted with the handheld controller. Tuning can be done on-the-fly and 4 preset programs can be loaded at any time. Factory-style air cleaner and air filter were fitted to give that factory hemi look. This Charger has stupid power but with the fuel injection system it can run like a timid deer or a raging elephant. The motor runs cool, 180 - 190 in 85-degree weather. There is a staged dual-electric-fan set-up cooling the custom aluminum radiator.

The transmission is a brand-new Tremec 5-speed manual with hydraulic clutch. The clutch kit is a matched system rated at 800 hp. Pistol-grip shifter was installed for that COOL look! 5th gear… 2,800 rpm at 70 mph.

Other new parts include Power Master 95-amp one-wire alternator, MSD distributor (used for position only), power steering pump for the rack, a/c compressor, battery, all-new wiring (ignition, charging, lighting) and much more.

Undercarriage: The undercarriage is completely detailed with painted original floor pan and frame rails, new fuel and brake lines, new custom driveshaft and new fuel injection factory-style gas tank.

The custom suspension is all from AlterKation with adjustable control arms, adjustable coil springs on all 4 corners, dual adjustable shocks on all 4 corners and a true 4-link suspension in the rear which has 6” of adjustability.

The exhaust system is all 2 ½” stainless with chromed TTI headers, Magnaflow stainless mufflers and factory chrome tips.

Brake system is all new. New chrome 1” master cylinder with 8” chrome power booster. And yes, you can remove the valve covers WITHOUT REMOVING the master cylinder set-up. All new brake lines and proportioning valve. Wilwood 4-piston calipers up front with all-new 11-½” Dana drum brake system in the rear. E-brake system is all new as well.

Wheels are Rocket Wheels with 18” up front and 20” in the rear. Tires are Mickey Thompson Street Comp 255/45R18 and 305/35R20. The wheel tubs are stock and it was not tubbed.

Other Info

The car was completed 11/20/17. I had it tucked away all winter.

This is NOT a buggy, slapped-together, made-for-TV-show car! I build these as keepers for myself but they are also for sale. I have built 50+ cars and they win Goodguys and many large shows! As you can tell by my feedback I don’t hide anything! I want the new owner to be happy and enjoy the car!!

VIN does match the core support.

Title is a clear Ohio title showing 98,362 EXCEEDS MECHANICAL LIMITS miles on title with the odometer showing 53,484 miles.

Comes with 2 sets of keys and all the receipts for the car. I built the entire car so I know everything about it.

Note: A/C lines have been made. They are not shown in some of the pictures. It is a RestoAir System with 134AA and is all charged and works perfectly.

The car has a rough front-end alignment (steers and brakes fine currently) but should have a professional alignment. I live where they salt the roads (which has happened) so I won’t drive it on the roads here to take it to be aligned.

This has a FiTech fuel-injection system on it. Which runs great but will probably need to be tuned for your area. It has provisions to have a Map system installed into it if you want to have a professional Dyno Shop tune it.

No trades.

I realize that it is difficult to purchase a vehicle you may not be able to inspect in person. I built this vehicle and I try to show you everything I would want to see if I was buying a vehicle for myself. As you can see by my feedback (100% positive), I describe my vehicles accurately. I have sold other vehicles on eBay to happy buyers worldwide so you can be confident when making a purchase.

Please ask questions before bidding! This is being solid AS IS with no warranty or guarantees and is up to the buyer to verify any-and-all info listed above in the description! This vehicle is also for sale locally. You are welcome to arrange a viewing of this vehicle. Again, this is a classic vehicle that has been driven and enjoyed. It’s not perfect or a museum piece so there may be minor imperfections in the body, brite work and glass. Anything to note is listed above.

I can store this vehicle for $125 a month (in advance) if you need time to make affordable shipping arrangements. Paid storage is in a dry, heated, secure indoor location. I do not finance. No trade or barter.

I am not responsible for any fees or taxes associated with registration, license plates or any out-of-pocket costs. Nor am I responsible for emissions compliance. A list of contact information for some of the shipping companies previous Buyers have used can be provided upon request for your quotation and shipping needs. Good luck and happy bidding!
