Car description

NEW ARRIVAL 1969 Dodge Coronet 500MODEL OVERVIEW History of the 1968 - 1970 Dodge Coronet The Dodge Coronet's roots go back to 1949, when it debuted as one of the company's first postwar models. By the time the late 1960s rolled around, the Coronet was bonafide muscle For 1968, the car received updated exterior styling. Gone were the straight lines and sharp edges, replaced by a rounder, more "Coke bottle" look. The Coronet was still offered in a range of body styles, including two- and four-door sedans, a four-door wagon, a two-door hardtop, and a convertible. Engines, too, ran the gamut from mild to wild, and the Coronet could be as staid or as heavy-duty as buyers pleased.OUR VEHICLE If you're frustrated by the high out of control prices of the 2-door versions of the Dodge Coronet Super Bee, and Charger, then perhaps something like this 1969 Dodge Coronet Deluxe would be a great solution for you.. With a smooth running small block, a sublime green paint job that just screams performance, and enough room for the whole family, this bargain-priced piece of muscle is worth a second look. The interior got a muscle car makeover, too, complements of new vinyl seats front and matching vinyl inserts on the door panels and back seat, so it wasn't a halfway-done. This car looks and feels like one of its more sporting 2-door siblings. Everything else including the instrument panel, which is in excellent condition and identical to other B-body performance machines is there. The back seat is notably massive and makes for comfortable seating for real-sized adults. The giant trunk with a full-sized spare makes this a great candidate for long-distance cruises. When fired up there's no question that this Coronet sounds and feels like the genuine article. The 318 small block runs every bit as smoothly as it should. . The large engine bay leaves plenty of room for service access and we kept it the way the factory would have done it, including the alternator, radiator, and TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission. The front suspension tracks straight and handles well for a vintage sedan and cruises with a low rumble at any speed. It's clean underneath, restored and refinished in gloss black which is always a relief, and it sits right on those flashy polished with black highlights US MAGS wheels..Affordable fun is always in style, and when it pays tribute to some of the greatest cars of the era, it's a home run ! Give us a call or better yet stop in to see this really fine vehicle !
