Car description

1965 Dodge Dart GT 273 V8 automatic trans, power steering, rebuilt 4 bbl Edelbrock carburetor. The odometer works and shows 92,000 original miles. The engine runs smoothly with an electronic ignition distributor, sounds good and starts on the first click of the key. Trans shifts well and the fluid is clean and red. The car stops straight. It has a good solid chassis, no rust, with drum brakes on all 4 corners.
Newly reupholstered seats, front and rear and new carpet. It has shiny vintage 14 inch chrome Cragar wheels. These are in near mint condition and really hard to find. All the wheel studs have right hand thread.
I purchased this car in California and is now registered to me in Arizona. No rust in floor or trunk pan. No rust in exterior body panels. Relatively new Flow Master exhaust system and good glass.
Needs paint and body work due mostly to minor damage from parking lot poles. The car will also need some minor mechanical work: freeze plugs, alignment (front end parts?). The trans has a small leak (I don't think it's coming from front seal) and the rod for the kick down linkage going to the carb is missing. Also it will need tires to use again as a dependable daily driver.
Great car for restoration or drive as is once mechanical stuff is fixed. I've listed as accurately as I can the things I can think of that are wrong with the car, but keep in mind that this is a 50 year old car and there may be some things I've forgotten to list or missed. I've only driven it around the neighborhood a few times.
I bought the car to keep and restore because my grandmother had one just like it and I thought it would be fun to have, but reality has set in and I really don't have the time to do it.
Arizona title in my name notarized and ready to go. Small reserve price.
