Body:

  • Floors and frame appear solid; has some evident surface rust on undercarriage and exhaust. Entire undercarriage was rubberized at some point prior to ownership (possibly ziebart). Fenders, hood, top, quarters and rockers are all original sheet metal and appear to be in excellent condition. Some very minor surface area rust on trunk floor surface; overall very solid

  • “Medium Blue Metallic” Paint completed professionally and is factory color; easy 8 of 10 paint

  • Bumpers, front grill and stainless are in good survivor condition; some stainless has bends / dings – see pics. Additionally, some chrome trim has minor signs of pitting – see pics.

  • Factory glass is exceptional

  • Headlights, directionals, hazards, stop and reverse are complete and functional; reverse tail lamp lenses are not factory.

  • Front and rear window stainless is in good condition

Interior:

  • Most of the interior is in good survivor condition; carpet to the headliner, front bucket seats, dash pad, door sills, sail panels and window sweeps are all OEM and in good condition; weatherstripping around doors should be replaced. Carpet has tear at driver foot rest area.

  • Operational gauges; speedometer, gas, water temp, oil pressure and amp meter; horn works, however horn chrome ring on steering wheel is cracked.

  • Odometer reads 80,831 and appears correct

  • A/C is cool, has been converted to R134. Heater is functional

  • Dash, door and interior lights and wipers all functional

A true and very original collector, driver quality 65' Dodge Dart GT that would take very little to bring to the next level. A fun one to drive or take to car shows, gets lots of thumbs up! As basic as she seems, this Dart would have made the town jealous in 1965.
