Car description

1965 Dodge Coronet Super Stock Modified Show Car 440 6 Pack Hot Rod TV Car

I am pleased to offer this garnet red pearl 1965 Dodge Coronet 2 door post coupe. Car was built in approx. 2011 and has not been driven very much since. Car was appraised in 2009 for $60,000 (see picture of document). VIN # is W155135153. Everything about this beautifully prepared 1965 Dodge Coronet coupe is a lesson in quality and attention to detail, to the extent that it was a feature car on the popular Hot Rod TV series (video to accompany sale). Beneath the beauty of its glass-like garnet red Imron paint and chrome-plated anodized trim is the heart of a serious performer: a 1969-vintage 440 CI big block fitted with a steel crank and bored .060 over to accept forged TRW pistons. Breathing is via a solid-lifter Ultradyne 292/570 camshaft, ported and polished heads, a Holley 800 CFM 4-barrel atop a Street Dominator intake and 1 7/8-inch Jet Coated Hedman headers exhausting through 3-inch secondary plumbing. Power is delivered through a TCI 3,500 stall converter and B&M ratchet-shifted 727 Torqueflite to a Dana 60 rear end using 4.10 gears and 38-spline axles. Super stock springs and American Torque Thrust wheels ensure great launches every time, and 4-wheel disc brakes maximize the car’s stopping power. With fewer than 1,500 miles in the last 12 years, this show-quality Mopar classic is in superb condition. HIGHLIGHTS:
