Not for the faint of heart, his classic '65 Dodge Coronet HEMI began life here in Dallas, exas as a manual-shifted 6 cylinder plain jane grocery getter. The car was purchased in original condition from the long-time first owner in 2005. This car was completely disassembled and the transformation began. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.

Many of our photos of this classic HEMI Mopar were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, ocated only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, exas.

The paint and body is outstanding. The brightwork has been restored throughout this 1965 Dodge Coronet. This is a high quality car. Completed in 2005 and garage kept, he car looks outstanding today, testament to the build quality. The color and body work was done by South Coast Rides in Houston, exas.

Under the hood is where it LIVES. The Mopar Performance crate HEMI V8 is 528 cubic inches and rated at 610 horsepower. Engine and chassis work has been done by Joe Smith here in Dallas, exas. Joe is a respected race fabricator here in Dallas. The engine compartment is in excellent condition. Ignition duties are by MSD. A Pro-Billet distributor and MSD 6-AL work together. Induction is more than adequate thanks to the special-tuned Demon 850 cfm annular discharge carburetor. Vintage Air Conditioning has been installed with a special bracket to relocate it to the bottom, discreet setup that functions excellent. Engine cooling duties are taken care of by a Griffin Aluminum extra capacity radiator. The fabricated aluminum plate on the hood underside is setup for this single 4bbl. setup, hich was chosen for reliabilty and power. With a change of the aluminum plate, ou could run dual carburetors if so desired.

Open the doors to 1965. This A990 inspired interior is by Gary Ball. This car was originally tan with tan interior. The interior color is retained. This color was used on the A990 cars as well. The light weight bucket seating is mounted to polished seat mounts. The dash is original as is the headliner. A 10K tachometer is mounted at ready atop the steering column. The back seat is deleted along with the radio. The Vintage air conditioning system is mounted under the dash to combat the Texas heat. This is a very well done interior. The door panels, pholstery and wheel wells show very well.

The transmission of choice is a built 727 Torque-Flite Automatic 3-speed by Phoenix Transmission of Weatherford, exas. This transmission has fitted with a 2800 stall converter and works excellent. This car is also equipped with a Gear Vendors Overdrive unit.

The undercarriage showcases a plethora of high performance parts working together. This car has been fitted with a HEMI K-member and heavy-duty Super Stock springs. The rear shocks are extended length. The torsion bars are from Mopar Performance. The strongest rear end is used, DTS Dana 60 fitted with 4.56 gearing and a posi-traction. A Gear Vendors Overdrive Unit is also fitted to this transmission. This setup is operated from the dash control box and an easy foot-operated switch by the headlight dimmer. You can easily switch from drag-ready 4.56 gearing to highway-friendly 3.55 range gears. The underbody is clean, etailed, nd restored throughout. The exhaust system is custom 3-inch TTI with Dynomax mufflers. Be sure to play our video/sound clip of this Dodge in action.

Classic polished Weld Wheels have been fitted front to back on this show quality Coronet. The tires of choice are B.F. Goodrich Radial T/As sized at 225/70R15 up front and 295/65R15s out back.

This is a rocket on land.

The body panels are correctly aligned. The paint is beautiful. The hue of choice is Viper Red in base/clearcoat.

This fabulous Dodge retains its original glass with exception of the windshield. All rubber components were replaced during the extensive restoration.

The bright work has been meticulously restored. The grille was removed, orked, nodized and polished.

The trunk is clean and detailed. A polished battery box is mounted over the right rear tire. This box houses a DieHard Platinum battery with a cut-off nearby.

The pictures speak clearly for this Coronet. Factory stock A990s featured acid-dipped lightweight front panels along with Lexan glass. This car retains its original production glass and solid sheetmetal. These cars are certainly a legend . This is your opportunity to own the next best thing. This car is of a higher quality than when it left Dodge, hats for sure. Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
