This rare piece is in excellent original condition and is very difficult to find here in the states; specifically because of the split front window and combined 15 windows total. This VW has a 1500cc engine that runs very well. If you are interested in making an offer rather than asking my reserve please feel free to do so and include your contact information as well TO CLARIFY SPLIT FRONT WINDOW PRODUCTION: Production in Germany: 1950 - 1967 Production in Brazil: 1950 - 1975 ( Postponed to 1975) The paint is new. and I will say it is stunning. This is the most solid bus I have had to date. and definitely the straightest bus I have had. The paint is white and purple with a very fine pearl. All of the windows are in tact and some have some light scratches but no cracks at all. The interior is fresh and VERY nice. The front carpeting where the driver and passegner sit is new. but it sort of wrinkles when you slide in and out with your feet. The floor pans underneath are overall very nice. and solid. This bus has great structure and integrity underneath. The tires are brand new 15" as well as brand new EMPI wheels. The roof rack is brand new. It has an EMPI shifter. The emergency brake is functional and this bus runs 100%. it will sit and idle all day long and not overheat or smoke. This bus drives nice. but does drive like a typical bus of this era. When I installed the new tires and rims the tire shop did not have the equipment to align the bus because the wheels are tucked up in the wheel wells which requires a tool they did not have.
