1955 DeSoto Fireflite 2dr HT

This is a great survivor. It was owned by an elderly couple in Idaho. It came from their estate sale. The pictures speak for themselves. but I can also tell you they took meticulous care of it. They showed it at many local car shows over the years. The Hemi engine and auto transmission are strong and operate flawlessly. It speedometer shows 21. 00 miles. but I can't verify the mileage. I originally purchased it do a resto-mod updating to disc brakes. adding electronic ignition. etc. Sadly. I have not had the time or recourses to do so. I have decided to sell it to someone who can and appreciation this fine automobile. At a recent Mecum auction a similar ’55 Fireflite 2dr sold for $32. 00. That car did have new disc brakes and a later model used Hemi engine. The reserve price is many thousands less than $32K. A buyer could maintain this car as is for years or update it as I had planned.
