1982 DeLorean DMC-12
This is a Show Winning, Modified Classic DeLorean. This tastefully restored and modified DMC-12 has a rebuilt and upgraded Phase II engine, new custom leather interior, LED lighting inside and out, chrome accents, and a 5-speed manual transmission. It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. All restoration, upgrade and modification work performed by Dan Bodkin, DeLorean Motor Company, Huntington Beach, CA. Over $20,000 invested.
The car took First place at the Benedict Castle Car Show and Best Modified in Las Vegas Car Show. It recently one the Marcellus, NY car show and appeared in DeLorean World Magazine Summer 2015 Issue on page 23 with Lea Thomson (AKA Lorraine Baines McFly). This car was selected to lead the parade of 35 DeLorean's down the LV strip in the 2015 Las Vegas Car Stars Celebrates Back to the Future event. Further, the dash is personally autographed by movie legends Christopher Lloyd (Doc in Back to the Future) and Claudia Wells (Marty McFly's girlfriend) as well as Bob Gale.
Standard and Factory Option DMC-12 Features: Brushed stainless steel body, Gull Wing doors, 2.85L V6 Engine, RWD, 5-Speed manual transmission, Functional A/C, All Bosch relays, Original wheels with chromed spokes, Disc brakes, 140 MPH Speedometer, Power windows, Tinted windows, Tilt and Telescope steering wheel, Electric side mirrors, Rear window defogger, Dual cooling fans.
Engine Restoration & Modifications: New engine block, rebuilt top & bottom end within last 15,000 miles, Phase II Performance Engine, Full race camshaft, Headers, K&N intake and air cleaner.
Restored and Upgraded Interior: New custom leather upholstery & armrest, Custom leather seats with fabric center section, New carpet, Custom MOMO steering wheel, custom shifter. Brand new premium sound system.
Suspension: New steering stabilizers. New brakes, angle drive, gas filter, and coolant lines. Brand new matched tires with less than 200 miles on them.
Appearance Enhancements: Custom ground effects package - air dam, side skirts. LED lighting in the interior, underbody, and side panels. LED engine compartment lighting, Custom chrome flared exhaust tips, chrome engine components including headers, oil pan, valve covers and more.
