Car description

Impeccable 510. Beautiful car with zero rust and virtually no signs of wear. I have stored this car in my HVAC controlled museum for the last few years and it is clear that prior to that it well cared for in every respect. Never seen snow. Starts without fail and runs beautifully in every respect. Just need to make room for new cars to the collection (heritageJDM.com).
These cars were only produced in this format for a few months at the end of the 510 run in 1980 and 1981. They weren’t common to begin with and this particular car may well be one of the best preserved and most original examples left (which is why I bought it). There have been no modifications to the car from the day she left the factory. She still wears her original paint. Interior is near perfect with the back seats looking like they just left the factory.
This car won best original import at a recent car show. It runs and drives just like it did in 1981.
I have the original window sticker, purchase paperwork, owners manual and keys for this car.

The car was purchased new in December of 1980 by a woman who owned it for essentially all of its useful life was in a garage in the desert during that time. I loved it, bought it, and shipped it to Chicago where it has sat in my Japanese car museum since.
The wheels and tires on the car are Rota Shakotans (worth about $650 based on current ebay listings) with Kumho tires that are also like new. As far as flaws to the paint etc. I have included pictures of what I can see. Just below the windshield there is a tiny rust spot and each door has a couple of door dings that look like just paint transfer and are not very deep. There are very shallow scuff marks on the hood. Under the hood and underneath this car is extraordinarily clean and everything is original.

This car has a 4-cylinder engine with auto trans as came from the factory. It is not a drift car or a speed demon, but is peppy and reliable and a mint version of the only one of these I've seen on the road in quite some time.
