General Description

You have now just encountered a VERY RARE true to original form and unrestored 1970 Datsun Fairlady 2000 SRL311 Roadster. The final year of production with some saying the 9/69 date stamp was the final one or one of the final ones. This is YOUR CHANCE to own one of the final original untouched roadsters around! The general condition of this unrestored Datsun 2000 is unbelievable!! It has matching number plates on the engine and on the chassis, nd is in original condition! It lived all its life in Oregon and has always been stored in a climate controlled garage, nd was carefully cared & maintained. It has been garaged since 1987, nd Recently it has only been driven occasionally on a sunny day to keep the engine in tune, nd it has always been stored carefully. For a near half-century car in original condition, t is immaculate inside and out. The engine is the ORIGINAL U20 1982 CC ENGINE 135 H.P. along with the 5-speed manual tranny. Compression on each cylinder is 120 PSI. It only has had one fresh repaint, nd the original body & paint underneath shows it was in amazing condition. The undercarriage is ALL ORIGINAL and has never been undercoated and you can see there is ZERO RUST! Not even one little pinhole. It is hard to believe this car has never been restored it is SO CLEAN! It has NEW smooth and glossy paint with only a few minor imperfections that are really only noticeable from from close up. This Datsun 2000 Fairlady starts right up from stone cold, nd runs and drives! The engine has incredible performance and operation. The engine is ORIGINAL along with the tranny. Compression on each cylinder is 120 PSI. It accelerates quite surprisingly, nd really moves. It has had all of the recommended maintenance performed. The lights all work. Everything else appears to work nicely. There is absolutely ZERO rust or corrosion on the body that is more than just minor surface staining & patina. No rot or rust-throughs ANYWHERE. Exterior Description

The exterior of this Fairlady is pretty much spotless. It has a wonderful patina and only shows it's age in a few spots. It has smooth and glossy paint as you can tell in the photos with only a few minor spots that show its patina yet these imperfections are really only noticeable from from close up. Interior Description

The inside will transport you to an age gone by. It is in original condition and a wonderful one at that. The seats are original and have not cracked or torn. Although you will see two small cracks in the dash, e can order a replacement after the auction if desired. The seats and carpet are in near showroom condition (see photos).
