The Galaxie has been painted in years past prior to my ownership. Some minor scratches and dings as you would expect of a car this age. The galaxie was a weekend driver for me. until my weekends starting getting too busy to drive it. I have had the car for 4 years and have put less than 2000 miles on it. It turns heads everywhere I go and occasionally wins a car show here and there. I've been told the carb could use some adjustment. and if you really wanted to make it a show car. a fresh paint job would complete it. No rust issues other than a couple small surface spots on the chrome. I've babied this car as much as I could. I never thought that I would sell it. but my schedule doesn't allow for it. The interior seating and carpet is new within the past few years and in perfect condition. The galaxie runs and drives. and is ready to be loved by a new owner.
