Car description

Exceptionally clean, California car. Every gas purchase, oil change, radiator flush and battery replacement was recorded with the mileage from new until 1976 when it was put in storage. It had 74,097 miles 43 years ago, now has 75,973. Less then 2,000 miles since. The most recent owner has taken excellent care of it since 2009. All fluid ls were changed. It is a very honest, clean car. EXTERIOR: The body is so dry, straight and fits nice. Buttom of... doors are clean, wheel well lips are dry. Clean jambs, weatherstrips are soft. Has a smooth, shiny white paint. Upfront the bumper looks like it's new chrome, headlight bezels and the entire grill is really excellent. The stainless trim around the windshield, top of doors and down the sides are straight and shiny. There is some freckling on the vent window pillars and door handles. In back the bumper, taillights and license plate surround are excellent. Black convertible top looks new, window is crystal clear. Has a black boot. The hubcaps are pristine, new and Coker radial whitewall tires. INTERIOR: I absolutely love the instrument panel on this car, it is so cool. It all lights up including the buttons, ignition, clock lights up. Has a push button transmission. Door panels, dash pad are excellent. It has it's original genuine leather upholstery except the bottom front cushions reupholstered. Has bucket seats with buddy armrest cushion in the middle. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is so clean and tidy. The engine bay is all smooth, clean white metal. The heater box is painted. The 383 motor has a nice fresh coat of paint. The wires, hoses, air cleaner all look proper. Has power steering and power brakes. New insulation under the hood. Radiator was recored, heater core was tested, new heater control valve. Freeze plugs were replaced. Distributor was rebuilt and upgraded with Pertronix ignition. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Trunk compartment has new black felt mat and the cardboard box liner is excellent. The spare tire is brand new. Bottom of the trunk lid has nice clean paint. weather strip is soft. UNDERSIDE: It's had a complete front end rebuild- new bushings, tie rods, ball joints, steering box, shocks and upgraded with disc brakes. In back it has new heavy duty leaf springs and shocks. Great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The Torqueflite auto trans was rebuilt, has finned aluminum pan. The floors and frame rails are dry as a chalkboard. Smooth rust free original metal. Okay, this is a rare car. What impresses me the most is how clean it is. This is one of those sweetheart cars. Looks so tidy and proper. Feels and functions great. I think it's always been in great shape. The maintenance log is great. It will be a great car for the new owner.
