This ultra-high-performance 396 engine was only available for one year in the Corvette 1965. There would eventually be 2157 customers who would opt for this expensive $292.00 engine option. This particular Corvette retains its original matching numbers engine.

The engine compartment is beautifully detailed. Full ignition shielding and braided spark plug wires are correct for this car optioned with the Delco AM/FM Stereo with power antenna.

The original Winter's casted aluminum intake was replaced long ago with an Edelbrock aluminum intake otherwise correct components are displayed throughout. The factory breather assembly is intact along with the exhaust shielding exhaust manifolds and the Harrison overflow tank.

Several small components have been kept correct including the fuel filter along withvarious clamps and hoses.

The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the fitting location for our photoshoot of this spectacular 1965 Corvette 396. Fly Low or Fly High be sure to visit our friends at the historic Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas Texas.
