1965 Chevrolet Impala 4 door the paint has been stripped and is in primer

Due to the many questions I have received I have added pictures that I have taken today. And will tell more about the car I had it painted and the paint was full of fish eye's. But my Grandson and I went ahead and restored the inside New head liner, floor mat, ulled the dash out and redid it restored everything but new door panels. Then we showed it that year. It ran great and sounded good But did not get a trophy. So when we put it away for the winter my grandson wanted to strip the paint to bare mettle and redo it. He has it about ready to paint again, With new inner finders the one where the battery set had a hole in it so we replaced both of the inter fenders. We was going to drive to get it painted and it would turn over but would not start we was not getting any spark. So he took the distributor out then he found a loos power wire so he put it back in but it was not in time. So when he started it, it back fired. He ask me can we over hall the motor I said I will just buy another one. So he started to take the motor out but lost interest and now I am not able to work on it. The other pictures are will he was working on it and what it looks now.I have all the parts for the car. The motor will have to be over haled or a new one installed.
