Car description

Up for auction is my wife's 68 Camaro. We have owned it for 8 years and have only put 7000 miles on it. In that time a lot of upgrades went into it. For starters a Newly built 355 with tuned port injection. with only 500 miles on it. It has forged flat top pistons. The good Vortec Heads. a lt1 cam with 1. 6 roller tip rockers. A Scoggins Dickey Vortec intake manifold to go with the custom chipped computer for the GM TPI. It's cooled by an electric cooling fan. Mid length headers with heated O2 senor. dual exhaust running through a "tranverse" flowmaster (quiet until you hit it hard) and tailpipes. It has a "stirrup" shifted turbo 350 trans and a ten bolt 373 posi rear. This is an older restoration car. but has been garaged since done. The trunk and floors are solid as is the rest of the car. It sports Coys 18"s wheels in the rear and 17"s front. The RS vacuum hideaway headlamp doors work great as all new vacuum hoses and needed parts have been installed. This is not an SS car. it just has the hood and emblems on it. The car has been lowered 2" in the front with drop spindles and 1" in the rear. and new shocks in all four corners. I installed a brand new advanced auto parts battery in it this morning just in case. This car is not a "show car" (hence the under thirty grand starting bid) its a nice driver. With power steering and power front disc brakes. and with the fuel injection it could even be a daily driver. The car catches eyes everywhere and it's the original RARE Island Teal color. The Black interior is still very nice for a driver. The bad? This car sits in my crowded garage (I'm a motorcycle nut) and it seams to be a magnet for falling items I have posted pics of the damage on the quarters and decklid that need to be repaired and blended to match. Probably about a thousand dollars worth of work and you'd have a very nice driver. My wife keeps telling me she's gonna start driving it but after this much work and many years. I'm gonna have to let someone else take it that will enjoy it. I am putting this up for sale on other venues and reserve the right to end this auction early if there are no bids. Please do not bid if you do not have the fund's to complete this transaction. Don't waste my time or your's with "lowball" offers as I'm not selling because I " need the money" I just want someone to enjoy this car. Zero feedback bidders will be deleted unless you get in touch with me before bidding. I will show this car to anyone interested. nbsp;local or otherwise ( I actually recommend it) by appointment. Just let me know. Any questions? just ask and I'll do the best I can to answer.
