1976 Chevrolet Blazer Chalet. Factory overland camper! Rust free!

1976 RUST FREE CHEVROLET CHALET OVERLAND CAMPER!!Up for Auction is this amazing original condition 1976 factory Chalet. The chalet is A full-size Chevy Blazer that came from the Factory with a pop-up camper on it. Less than 1800 units were made between spring 1976 and very early 1977. and were sold through Chevy/GMC dealerships. The Blazer came off the same production line as a regular truck. and had a pop-up camper shell installed by Chinook Mobilodge in Washington. The camper is similar to the Chinook campers installed on Toyota pickups of the same era. This particular Blazer seats two in the cab. and up to four. sideways. in the camper. (There are only seatbelts for two in the camper. nbsp; and two up front The camper seats fold down to sleep two. and some units came with fold-out upper bunks to sleep two more. These upper bunks are pretty narrow. so they're best for kids. Inside you'll find a propane heater and stove; water tank and sink. and either an icebox or a fridge. Shelves. closets and a removable tabletop round out the furnishings. (They did not. however come with a shower or toilet. The Chalet is surprisingly roomy inside; due to the headroom provided by the camper unit's extra height. even tall and/or wide people find the interior quite comfortable. This particular Chalet Is in amazing condition. The interior is 100% stock and is in excellent condition with no rips or tears anywhere. Cabinets are in amazing condition. The factory suspension has been recently swapped out for a rough country 4 inch suspension lift. Drag link and dropped pitman arm include. This truck has NOT been detailed. this is just a very clean truck These Chalets are all numbered. this one is #403 out of 1800. DETAILSBody: Rust free southern California and New Mexico truck. Wears original paint and has never been repainted. The original hood has been replaced with a metal cowl hood. Suspension: The factory suspension has been recently swapped out for a rough country 4 inch suspension lift. Drag link and dropped pitman arm include. Four new shocks. Wheels and Tires: Brand new with less than 200 miles them. BFG Goodrich Baja champion 35 x 12. 5 with dick cepek wheels. Engine: Factory original 400 small block. original miles of 81k. Runs real strong. Uses about 1. 5qts of oil every oil change. Transmission: Turbo 400. nbsp;gift perfect like it should. No leaks. Breaks: Completely redone breaks with extended lines for lift. Pop Top: Perfect and original. no holes or tears. NOT brittle. please look at pic!!!Interior camper: 100% complete and in amazing condition. i personally have not turned on the stove or ref ridge but everything is in place and hooked up correctly. Carpet is pretext with no stains. Cabinets all work as they should. No peeling or broken hinges. 4x4 transferase: Transfers perfect. 4 wheel drive works great. No leaks. Gauges: All gauges work as they should. No issues. AC: this is a a/c truck. everything is there and is factory stock. It does not seem to get cold. It has also never been converted. Conversion and charge should fix although I do not know. Title: Clear California title in my handBADS: Front grill is cracked. light on camper side is broken. Heater fans stays on low and sometime can drain battery. (switch?). Overall this is an amazing. original. and well cared for 1976 Chevrolet overland chalet.
