I'm listing this 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe 2 door sedan project car for a friend. The restoration was started about 30 years ago. All rust has been repaired with metal and painted single stage Chevrolet gray by a professional restoration shop. There has been some minor paint damage while the car was sitting. The motor and drive train has been re-built and the motor is free. Have all parts shown in the pictures. but has not been inventoried. All glass is present. a new correct wiring harness. a new Hampton Coach interior not installed plus some extra parts. This is a very solid restoration project that has had a lot of the big money spent on it. but will require time and labor to complete. This is a no reserve auction. This car is being sold without any warranty. As is where is. Your bid is a contract to purchase. so ask any questions up front. A $500. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction with full payment due within 7 day of the auctions end. Payment of the deposit can be cash in person or paypal. The remainder can be cash in person. cashiers check. wire transfer or personal check. Checks must clear our bank before the car can be picked up. Transportation from Harrisonburg. VA 22802 to the buyers location is the responsibility of the buyer. The car can be stored inside for 30 days from the auctions end. After 30 days the storage fee is $50. 00 a month.
