Car description

The Corvair are really finding their popularity today as we respect how GM gave us a European-like machine in a true American package. And this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza upholds that legacy quite well. With tis red-blooded style, bucket seat interior, nimble handling, and fully independent suspension, it makes for the kind of drop-top that you'll love driving.
Shiny red paint and bright chrome bumpers give this car an instant classic appeal. Excellent window trim, complete badging, and good sheetmetal really show the fundaments are done right here, too. But we like these Corvairs for many more reasons. These second-gen cars have a sportier style. The front has a sharper point and a more intimidating overhang. The rear has a quad taillight package that look like what the Plymouth 'Cuda would copy a few years later. And speaking of muscle car style, the upgraded 15-inch torque thrust wheels give this one a powerful stance.
The white convertible top against the exterior red gives this one the all-American appeal of a Coca-Cola bottle. But when you take it down, the full black interior really shows off more of that muscle car flair. After all, not only does the black look sporty against the red, but front bucket seats really prove this is a driver's car. The smooth dash, nice door panels, and plush carpeting complete the blackout look. There are cool classic pieces, like the thin/grippy steering wheel, round gauge package, and automatic transmission shift lever mounted on the dash. These are joined by worthwhile upgrades, like the armrest center console and an upgraded AM/FM digital tuner with aux input for modern music players.
The 164 cubic-inch flax-six is mounted in the rear. The motor has a natural low center of gravity, and its smartly packaged over the rear driving wheels. So while these Corvairs had some of the same muscle car appearance that other Chevys were getting in the 1960s, this one has the size, engineering, and nimbleness of cars like Porsches and Fiats. Plus, these later Corvairs had the Corvette-inspired a fully independent rear suspension, larger brakes, and a front stabilizer bar. It all makes for a desirable package, and it's furthered by more recent investments in this example. Within the last two years, this car has a rebuilt carburetor, newer gas tank, new universal joints, new transmission seal, and more.
This Corvair Monza offers a touch of American drop-top flair and plenty of European car sensibilities. And it all makes for an unbeatable package at this value price. Call today!!!
