1952 Chevrolet Ultimate Barn Find 20 Years Stored 3100 Series 5-Window Truck

I am the third owner. To get the pickup home. I drained the fuel tank and flushed it out. Installed a new battery. checked the oil and antifreeze. installed new fuel pump and put in fresh gas. It fired right up. Jerry. the previous owner asked me what the heck I was doing and I told him I was going to drive it home. He said. No your not. I am. So he drove Molly 12 miles to my home at a speed of 57 mph. I was shocked to see it hold a steady speed and drove straight as an arrow. Jerry said he would trust driving it anywhere because he put on new tires. brakes to include: wheel cylinders. hoses. lines. master cylinder and new shoes. The front end was all redone with new king pins. bushings and steering ball joint. The truck drives and stops like it should. The 4 speed granny transmission works flawlessly. The truck has been gone through mechanically with new upgraded push rods. new cap. rotor. points. condenser. wires and plugs. It purrs great with the original single throttle body carburetor and oil bath air cleaner. Molly has been upgraded to 12v and the heater and wipers works well than original. Never have a fogged up window again. All new rubber and seals have been installed and the instrument cluster gone through to make everything work like it should. Paint has been buffed out to a shine to show all the originality of the body panels. Even all the dents have not been restored. Just a good buff and wax was done showing off all the original patina and rust. Grill. wheels and bumpers have been painted along with new caps have been put on. New chrome mirrors and a complete interior package was also installed. Molly is road ready with everything look at. check or replaced. Tons of receipts for all the parts installed over the last 10 years of storage. A new wood kit has been installed in the bed to dress it up. On Mar-30-15 at 13:43:00 PDT. seller added the following information: Update: 3. 30. 2015Drove "Miss Molly" to town and back yesterday and speedometer stopped working. Removed cable from back of meter and while driving the cable stills spins. Inserted a small flat head screw driver into the back of meter and turned it. The needle and odometer move. Found the cable either shrunk or broke and will not allow the end of the cable to engage the back of the meter. So a new cable will be needed. Also. I was looking into all the parts that go with the truck. I forgot these items that go with it as well as what I have listed in the ad.
