1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Street Rod

1940 Master Deluxe Town Sedan 2 DR Street Rod. New crate engine. Best Pre-war model. Recent restorationof most systems. Modern conveniences of a new modeled car with the styling of a ’40 Chevy. Options include power brakes (disc front,drum rear), Mustang II power rack & pinion steering, 350 SBC, TH350 trans, 10bolt ’87 Monte Carlo rear end with 3.73:1 gears, Vintage Air A/C & heat.Ron Frances wiring. 29K miles since original restoration which was done in 1987 garage kept. Restored again in 2019.

It has an ATKREMANUFACTURED 350 SBC ENGINE with 700 miles.The following new components have all been replaced in 2019: 670 CFM CARBURATOR,STARTER AND FLEXPLATE, HARMONIC BALANCER, FUEL PUMP, FUEL LINES AND FILTER, MSDHEI DISTRIBUTOR, WIRES AND PLUGS, POWER RACK AND PINION STEERING, POWERSTEERING PUMP AND HOSES, TIE ROD ENDS AND BALL JOINTS, WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STEERING COLUMN AND MOUNTING(DASH AND FLOOR), STEERING UNIVERSALS AND STEERING SHAFT, FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS,BRAKE HOSES, PROPORTIONAL VALVE, WATER PUMP, FAN BELTS AND RADIATOR HOSES, TRANSMISSIONHOSES, TORQUE CONVERTER, SEAL AND COVER. Also added in 2020 were new frontshocks, chrome coil springs and front anti-sway bar.

Paint is a single stage urethane which looks good at any cruise night. Body is all steel with fiberglass runningboards. Floor pans and frame are also solid. Tires are Dunlop (front: 205 x 70R x 15; rear: 235 x 75R x 15).

Frame was reinforced. Rear suspension has leaf springs and coil over shocks and 2” dropped spindles MustangII IFS. It also has a trailer hitch.

Interior is1987 Chevy Berretta cloth seats and VDO gauges. Carpet could use a replacement.

Documentationavailable for all components replaced.The VIN number was verified by Delaware DMV. Title is clear.
