Car description

Selling my 1964 Impala 2 Dr Hardtop.
This car is a documented 33K ORIGINAL mile car.
I have the MASS title from the previous owner that states 33,287 ACTUAL Miles dated
from Jan 2020. The photo of the title is included in the photos from the link below
When you see the interior you will see that the mileage is correct, there is almost ZERO
wear in the interior of the car, it's amazing to see one like this!
A matching numbers car that is ALL original, only a few mechanical repairs have been made to the car, all to make it driveable as it is. The car is ready to go, except for needing a muffler.
I have a good used muffler that I will include in the sale.
When is the last time you saw a real 33K mile 1964 Impala?
The interior is like a time capsule, there is not a single tear, rip, or snag anywhere in the interior.
That includes the absolutelyperfect headliner and sun visors.
Car has factory power steering and power brakes, original 283, with the powerglide trans.
It has a rare FACTORY AM/FM radio, the radio powers up but won't bring in a station.
I have owned many 64 Impalas over the last 50 years, and this is one of the nicest
I have owned.
Exterior is Daytona Blu, the correct color that matches the cowl tag code 916
Factory perfect interior is blue cloth, and in perfect condition, and I don't use that term loosely.
Car runs and drives beautifully, ALL NEW power brakes stop on a dime.
The engine fires right up and is very smooth, with no smoke, no drips or leaks.
It has excellent power for a 283, has the factory 2 barrel carb.
Everything works as it should, all the accessories, switches and knobs work.
The only exceptionis the factory AM/FM radio, it powers on and makes a buzzing sound.
Even the clock is ticking!
The heater controls are all working as they are supposed to and the heater blows hot, with the defroster working as it should. NO leaks
The padded dash is perfect, not a single nick, rip or crack anywhere on the dash.
The interior and dash is in totally amazing condition on this car!
The underside is in very nice and solid condition, NO rust through anywhere to be found.
Car was undercoated when new, and retains most all of the original undercoating, that is what saved this car from beginning. The floors, body mounts, floor supports are all in good condition, no rust through anywhere underneath.
There is some minor surface rust on the frame and the rear pumpkin, but that is normal for a car of this age.
Car has good tires and the original hubcaps are included.
The car has had some paintwork in the distant past, mostly showing on the front of the passengerfrontfender, where the lacquer paint shows some cracking.
There is a closeup of that spot in the google photos linked below
The passenger door and front fender could use a small adjustment where they come together.
Looks to me like the door needs to come up 1/16" or so to make the gap correct.
The rest of the gaps on the car are good.
There are a few small spots of some damage to the paint, but they are minor only.
One area on the panel between the trunk and the rear windows also has some lacquer cracking, very minor.
The car could use a good wetsand and buffing, along with paint correction done in the areas with the lacquer cracking. There is one spot on the passenger rocker panel where the paint has flaked off, but no rust showing, just flaked paint, about 3-4" by 1/4" inch area.
One very small spot on the hood that has a small blister, and one area on the trunk that has some bubbling in the paint. One small spot on the rear rocker on the passenger side, where the end of the rocker meets the tirewell, the size of a quarter or so.
That is the extent of the damage to the paint, I just want to make sure people know
about these areas, so there are no surprises.
The closeups of the bad areas do NOT represent the paint on the entire car.
These are just closeups of the areas that need correction, the rest of the paint is in
very nice condition.
I cannot find any leaks at all in the driveline, or anywhere on the car.
Body and the trim are nice and straight, the paint shines up very nicely.
The trunk and hood fit very nicely, no sag in the doors at all.
I did not even wash the car before taking the photos
The trim on the car is in amazing condition, only one small spot on the front hood molding that is pushed in a bit, but the rest of the trim is sweet!
All of the door and trunk rubber seals are in excellent condition
The bottom of the doors are very solid, no rust through there
I believe the rear bumper is new, but the front one is original to the car.
An good old school lacquer paint guy can fix the bad areas, the car doesn't need a full paint job
A good wetsand and buff, fix a few small spots, and the car will be sweet!
The following items have been replaced by the previous owner.
All new brakes including brakes lines and fittings all around.
All new fuel lines, new fuel tank and sendingunit, new shocks, rebuilt front end including new bushings, etc.
New power steering hoses, and I think the pump is new also.
The engine compartment is super clean!
Car sits very straight, NO sag in the suspension at all.
The trunk is in very good solid condition, no rust.
Not even any rust under the factory mats that is normally there from moisture
A small amount of discoloration in the factorysplatter paint, but no rust, no bubbling.
The rocker panels are very nice and super solid throughout. NO rust through at all
You will be hard pressed to find another 64 Impala in this condition at this price.
I bought this car from a local collector, but need to let it go for becauseI am looking at
another car I want to buy.You don't find a car like this often with it's low mileage and perfect interior.
I encouragepeople to come see the car in person by appointment in Weare, NH
