Car description

Chevrolet C-10 . Condition is Used.Chevrolet C-10 . Condition is Used. Selling my 1967 Chevy C10 Short bed step side. It has a 1972 Camaro small block 350 with open headers. 3.54 posi Mopar rear. Mild race cam with some head work done ( has nice cam rumbl, probably 350 + HP). Stall converter with shift kit. TH350 tranny is automatic with Mustang 2 shifter. tilt steering, blue velour split bucket seats with console storage. Stock fuel tank ( behind seat). Trucks bed is not bolted down and I will lift it up to get more pics of the frame. Also,,all the original bed wood removed. All new steel wheel adapters for the ralley rims ( Chevy 5 x 5") brand new 0 miles retro style radials. The truck starts runs drives and stops evenly ( brakes evenly) . I bought it because I love the style of this Truck. I started putting some money into it such as : Chevy Camaro Rally rims, brand new retro radials, all new complete major tune up, all new shock, some new brake lines and new water pump. Has surface rust on frame but structurally sound with some new panels,,( rockers etc) welded in not too long ago. Typical rust by the radiator supports . I just lost interest in getting it to where I want it. Would love somebody who has the interest and desire to put it together to buy it. I can't believe how much these things go for even as a Rat rod. And completely restored They are unbelievable. I'm only looking to sell for about what I originally paid for it. Hoping to come out with about $4000 for it. I feel that anyone who knows what these vehicles are worth and who knows how to work on them will be more than satisfied with the condition and the potential. I will try to post more pictures and maybe a video of it running and will answer any questions that are forwarded through messaging.*** I Haven't sold anything in quite a long time, but any time I have sold anything the buyers were always more than happy with their purchase and some even corresponded back-and-forth with the progress of vehicles or things that we had sold them in the past. I am located centrally in Long Island, New York which is only accessible via bridges, the Long Island ferry ( from Connecticut) and the Midtown tunnel. So please be aware that it is a little bit of a chore getting here unless you live on Long Island. I would imagine to have it shipped out of state would be quite a bit of money maybe a A $1000 or more plus?? Please have all your bids serious and be prepared to pay and pick up the vehicle in a timely manner. **** Please no personal checks,,, Out of state 3rd party checks etc.Bankers/certified check, Money order, or Paypal only.* I Apologize to anyone who bid on this truck For ending the listing early. I had it on craigslist and the phone was going off night and day with phone calls texts scam calls and emails etc.
* Also I took the seats out and took the bed off to get much better pictures of the rust and rot areas that people were asking me about.* I started going over the electrical system a little as to what works and what doesn't work.***** wipers work,,,directional work,, headlights work, heater works,, emergency blinkers work . Needs to go over some wiring ) a little rough looking but operable) but the guy I bought it from had it on the road up to 2019.
*******Basically the entire truck needs to be totally restored so****[[[*[PLEASE,,,,, Know what is involved before bidding or getting involved in this project. I bought the truck for sentimental value because I always loved these trucks and especially the small window c10 step side. Even though it has some ( typical Chevy truck from the East Coast) rust,, it has strong structural bones and could be fixed up and driven around locally. As for me,,I've decided I'm to old and weary to start getting involved in all the scraped knuckles, broken bolts,,,rust chips in the eyes,,etc lol.I probably have well over $ 4000 or so ( that I'll actually admit to) * closer to 5k probably, invested in this project so I have to cash in my chips early on the his one. I have a recent clear registration for the vehicle and it starts up, runs, drive, and stops.
I have a video of it running and driving but don't want to drive it down my road again with open headers. Neighbors patience seem to have run out with the load sound.
*** I just Bought brand new Purple Hornies Glass Pack, brand new rat rod tail lights, extra 6 lug chevy rims and spacers/adapters.
** PLEASE!!!!! Once again ask all relevant questions and I will try to get back to you and try to post a video of it running and driving. I have to get $4000 I think is what the reserve is. Just don't have the time, Desire or health to take this all on.
ALSO: Please be aware that the truck is located centrally on Long Island New York which is only accessible via bridges the Midtown tunnel, and Ferry. Please have access to towing equipment as in flat bed, flatbed trailer etc. And be aware of the cost to ship a vehicle can run up into a decent amount of money. I am not driving it to any shipping area, ferry area etc pick up at current .Location only thank you.
Hoping to come out with $4000 or closest amount will be considered.
I am also reserving the right to reserve this auction early if my reserve is met or buy it now amount met early. Thank you, Bill.On Feb-16-20 at 12:10:38 PST, seller added the following information:
