Car description

Up for sale is this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa 140HP 2 door coupe. It has a 4-speed manual transmission, all the gears work great. The car runs and drives, the carburetors probably need to be rebuilt though as it has troubles cold starting and a float bowl in the primaries will occasionally stick. But once it's running it runs, drives, and brakes great.Things done to the car include: new exhaust after the manifolds, new valve cover and oil pan gaskets, new transmission input shaft seal, the transmission has been flushed and new gear oil installed, new shocks, new inner and outer tie rod ends, new idler arm, new pitman arm bushing, recent front end alignment, repacked wheel bearings, new distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires, and new battery cables.Items included with the car include: a new fuel pump, v-belt, fuel filter, strut rod bushings, upper and lower ball joints, upper and lower control arm bushings, points, condenser, a Chilton's book on the corvair, and 4 individual air cleaners for the 4 1-bbl carburetors if you which to convert it from one single air cleaner. The paint/body is fair, it's a solid 10-20 footer. There are issues though, the driver's side quarter panel is pretty rusted out in the bottom behind the back wheel and there are scratches, dings, and hail dings throughout. It's no show car but it'll make a great driver. I'm only selling because I need the money and the space, have too many projects that one has to go. Buyer is responsible for picking up the car, I've only driven it around town so I don't know that I would trust it long distances, trailering it would probably be your safest bet. Feel free to message me through ebay with questions you may have or email me at johnsonjared12@gmail.com. I work odd hours so I will try my best to get back to you as quickly as possible. Thanks for looking and good luck!
