Car description

This is a rare find for a 51 year old car. It was purchased at Courtesy Chevy in Cincinnati Ohio delivered 12-11-63. I have the owners guide and the Warranty book sating that info. Plus other papers. It was last tagged in 2009. It has been in a shop for the last few years. just sitting. I have repaired a few things just to get her moving. New gas tank fuel lines carburetor. Brake master cylinder. line and houses. Heater core. Body: I have restored a few cars. This is the most RUST FREE one I have seen. The floor/trunk pan are great. Rocker/windows great. The rust is superficial. I call it Southern rust from the humidity. You just kind of brush it off. Interior: Seats perfect but not original. Carpet stained. the rest is great shape and original. Engine Trans: Has a 194 6 cylinder. & a power glide trans. I started her up. runs perfect. Trunk is great with orig. spare/jackPaint: code 920-7 Almond Fawn metallicTrim: F-768Firewall tag 4 04 69 N 142299Want take much to restore one!!On Mar-13-15 at 04:03:37 PDT. seller added the following information: oooOn Mar-14-15 at 15:44:44 PDT. seller added the following information: This are some questions I have been answering I hope I answer yoursYes I started her up after I installed the new carb. It runs excellent. Alternator works etc. I was very curious about the trans. also. I have a long driveway so I gave her a try. Shifts like a new one!. The tires are new when they were installed??. I will have to check the date if you want. They look like they were only put on yesterday. It has 13" wheels. Yes that is some rust on the lower left rear. but it is only surface. The exhaust pipes/muffler are missing. I just do not want to put any more money in it right now. Pipes and muffler installed around $250. The car is very dirty/dusty. Its just like it was when I brought it home. I installed a new radio speaker but I only get static. The new heater core is installed. but I have not plumbed it yet. The 3 speed fan blower works great. Oh since I put in a new speaker I put in new defrost duct pipes. It has a new fuel system New Tank all the way to carb. This car does not need floor or trunk pans. The rockers are solid. The doors open and close like it was on the showroom floor. I believe this car is a one family car. Thanks for your interest. Have a Bless Day.
