Car description

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop upgrades the icon you love with a performance stroker V8 and five-speed manual transmission. And when you enjoy it all from a custom/comfy A/C interior, you start to see how this has everything you want, including a value price for a custom street machine.
With its sinisterly dark attitude that avoids a two-tone, this '57 Chevy instantly announces it's built for street-eating intimidation. But what really attracts you to this one is that there's arguably no better classic to represent America than a real-deal Bel Air hardtop with its tailfins and clean pillarless profile. And of course, the brightwork is so iconic on the well-integrated bumper/grille, dual bullet-style hood ornaments, and full-length sweeping side trim. So it's great to have it so complete on this example. The gold anodized trim hints at the V8 under the hood, and the polished Torq Thrust wheels with larger/wider rear ones hint that this has extra-special V8 power (more on that in a moment.)
Inside, the upholstery follows a similar button-top factory pattern, but they never offered it in this kind of comfy velour. The black package with red inserts on the doors and seats has the nice look of extra performance that this Bel Air delivers. But more than just sporty, it's a nice place to spend some time. This is an older restoration, but an investment in quality shows you that it remains looking nice today. They even added air conditioning so you can stay cool even when you have all the windows down on this hardtop. You still get that classic grippy feeling of the Bel Air steering wheel, but now the added gauges (w/tach) and Hurst floor shifter help deliver an upgraded driving experience.
The Tri-Five Chevys were the dawn of the small block, but they were never given anything like this. The 383 cubic-inch V8 continue the small block legacy, but now in a big block level of displacement. It has been further enhanced with performance components such as Comp Cams 270H camshaft, roller rockers, high flow water pump, Edelbrock intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. And the headers add even more power while also contributing to the rumble this one makes right under the car. It has nice supporting components, too, with an HEI distributor, high amp alternator, electric choke, and four-row aluminum radiator. It's a terrific power package, and you get to take full control of it thanks to the upgrade to a Richmond five-speed manual transmission that also includes a Hayes flywheel and Hayes performance clutch. Modern Hankook tires and power brakes with discs up front deliver added confidence to this enhanced Chevy.
This is the icon upgraded with the right power and features. So you know it's a deal you don't want to miss. Call today!!!
