It is an ideal project for anyone with mechanical ability to complete the restoration. The restoration was started a few years ago but was never completed. The body was taken off the frame and painted. It is a very nice body with many original panels, and only minor body work completed on the driver’s side front fender. The paint is in very good condition with only a few minor scratches or chips that have occurred while in storage over the years. A partial can of the original paint is included for any minor touch ups. All the body panels have good alignment and gaps. Additional exterior items include re-chromed bumpers, re-chromed door and windshield posts, new glass windshield, and all of the stainless which is either re-polished or in great condition. The frame is solid, in good condition and with no signs of damage. It was painted black and new brakes and fuel lines were installed. Many suspension parts either original or replaced and new shocks and exhaust were added. Also new 5 spoke chrome wheels and new tires are included. The interior has new seat covers already installed, and new carpet is included. New door panels and new dash pad. The dash parts include the speedometer, gauge cluster, high rev tachometer, and radio. Again, there are many new or restored parts and many fasteners to help install. Please look at all of the pictures for the parts included and call us if you have any questions. The original soft top frame is included and needs to be only sanded and repainted and the new white soft top material is included. The engine currently in the car is a 350 cu. in. high performance engine. An additional rebuilt 1965 327 engine on a stand is also included, it is built as a 350HP engine. Due to the fact that this is an original fuel injected Corvette, it could be restored with a correct 327/360HP FI engine and it would add considerably to the value. Based on our review of the engine compartment we are very confident that this car is an original fuel injected car. We have posted many pictures of the firewall and fenders areas to support our claim. The transmission is a Muncie with Hurst shifter and the rear axle is positraction. They appear in good condition but we are not sure if they have been rebuilt as we have not tested them. We have posted many pictures that show all areas of this car and all of the parts included with the sale. Due to the fact that probably some parts are missing we encourage bidders to look at the details of all of the pictures and to contact us with any questions you may have. The asking price on our website is only $44,990, but this is a NO RESERVE auction and it will sell to the highest bidder!!!!!
