The chrome and rubber seals have also been attended to throughout this Chevelle. This is a quality car. 427 Turbo-Jet badges have been added for curb appeal. Power is courtesy of this high performance built 502 cubic inch big block V8. This powerplant features Holley fuel injection with a Fel Pro Tunable ECU. Exhaust gases are expelled through Hooker Super Competition Headers to a 3. 5 inch dual exhaust system with Flowmaster Mufflers. This combination produces in excess of 500 horsepower for the ultimate seat of the pants experience. The transmission and rear end are built to take the extra power. The transmission is a TCI TH400 3-speed automatic with a 3000 stall converter. The differential is a 12-bolt unit with a 3. 73 posi-traction and beefy Mark Williams axles. The engine compartment is clean and detailed throughout. The sheetmetal is in excellent condition. Cooling duties are handles by a Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric fan. The battery is an Optima red top. just replaced. This is a true Bolero Red SS396 1967 Chevelle hardtop with red vinyl interior. It came factory equipped with bucket seating and a center console. Open the doors to 1967. The interior has been restored to stock with new upholstery throughout & the correct bucket seating. The carpeting has been replaced as well. The bucket seating is in excellent condition. The center console houses the factory clock along with a professionally installed B&M shifter to glide through the TH400 gears. The dash is clean and detailed. complete with the original gauge cluster along with some auxiliary gauges. A Halfmeter AF30 Air/Fuel ratio gauge has been installed along with Autometer Sport Comp gauges - Tachometer - Oil Pressure - Water Temperature - Voltage The trunk has been fitted with a 16-gallon fuel cell & braided & anodized fuel lines. The undercarriage displays rebuilt suspension front to back. Hotchkiss rear trailing arms have also been installed. The transmission is a built TCI TH400 while the differential is a 12-bolt unit with posi-traction and HD Mark Williams axles. The rear trailing arms are by Hotchkis Performance. The exhaust cut-out plates are ready for action if you desire a trip to the track or a full-throat sound. This Chevelle sounds VERY mean with its rumbling 502. Be sure to play our video.
