Car description

All vehicle trades considered. including classics and performance. Call or text 920-860-3993. I really like this old truck. It is a restored 1964 Chevrolet C10 with a bundle of nice features; Custom Cab. 283ci V8 engine. floor shifted 4-speed Muncie transmission. in-dash tachometer. original air conditioning. and more. It all makes for a classic truck that looks great and is more fun than you might expect. This C10 has a straight and rust-free body that you don't always see in these trucks. It looks great in its color of light green. especially with the Custom Cab accents. stainless trim. and painted wheels. The oak bed is a great complement too. Note the stake holes have been filled on the bed and it has internal latches on the gate for a very clean look. The "High Torque" 283 cubic inch engine is very reliable and gives the truck plenty of hustle. Note the original valve covers. intake manifold. and exhaust manifolds. There is an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor on top for improved performance. The transmission has been swapped to a Muncie 4-speed with floor shifter which really spices up the ride. It sounds great too with the dual exhaust and glasspacks. The interior is very nice. starting with the bench seat. three sets of seat belts. and dual sunvisors. The dash has a full set of factory instrumentation (water temperature. ammeter. oil pressure. fuel level) along with an in-dash tachometer. Everything works properly. as do the horn button and windshield wipers. A basic AM/FM stereo has been added as well. This truck also has an original. working air conditioning unit! Note 1964 was the last year for underdash units. and still used the special hose clamps on the refrigerant lines. This really is a nice pickup. and a great example of the first generation C10. It runs and drives as good as it looks. It has many desirable features that set it apart from the crowd. And it also represents a good investment as old trucks continue to appreciate. Think you've got a garage space for this one?
