Car description

INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME. PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 8O5-803eight WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY IT NOW. This is just a cool old truck. It is a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Super Cheyenne Longbed Pickup that is a lifelong Southern California truck. It was originally built in the Fremont, CA factory. I'm sure you are aware how hot 1967-72 Chevy trucks are right now. Finding a reasonably priced and solid truck now is getting more difficult every day. This is one of those and will sell this first time advertised. The Chevy has it's original matching #s 350 V-8 that has been rebuilt. It runs very well. It has a mild RV cam and Holley four barrel added. It also has headers and dual exhaust that sound great. The engine compartment is very clean and nicely detailed with plenty of chrome. Turbo 350 three speed automatic that shifts well. Posi traction rear axle. It is loaded with the Cheyenne Super Equipment package, power steering, power front disc brakes, Four Seasons Air Conditioning, tilt wheel, AM radio, tinted glass, rear step bumper, front bumper guards, and door edge guards. I also have the woodgrain Chevrolet script trim for the tailgate. I have all of the parts for the AC but have not been able to find the compressor that was removed quite a while ago.
The truck is very solid. The body is straight. The doors still shut with that nice thud that everybody loves. The floorboards and frame are excellent. You will be very happy with how rock solid this Chevy really is. The bed is very solid on top and underneath. There is some rust in the typical area on the driver's side rocker. It is isolated to the front part of the rocker. There is also some rust in the drip rails on the roof. There is a very minor dent in the driver's side of the bed. It is all easily repairable, especially with the huge aftermarket parts availability for these trucks now. I just want to be honest and upfront from the start so you know exactly what you are getting and will love your new truck. There is no rust on the hood or tail gate. Even when you open the gate, it is rust free at the back of the bed. The interior is excellent. The upholstery was re-done some time ago but it still looks new. The dash is excellent. Factory AM radio still installed and the dash has not been cut. A CD player was cleanly installed under the dash but the removable face plate has since been lost. The truck was originally red with a Parchment interior. The factory option sticker is still on the glovebox door. Centerline wheels. Bedliner installed. This is not a restored, perfect, $50k truck by any stretch. If that is what you want, KEEP LOOKING. It is a good looking, fun driver for a great price that has bumps, bruises, scratches, chips, and whatever other term you want to use. Please be realistic with your expectations. Clean, clear California title in hand with current 2020 tags. No smog ever needed. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. I already have a 1971 GMC Shortbed so I need some room. And yes, the Spotlights work!
