Car description

This is a very clean 1994 Chevy Silverado Z-71 extended cab pickup. 5. 7 TBI engine. 4L60E transmission. It is 4WD with manual shift lever on the floor. The truck has just under 200K miles and runs great. The interior is in great shape with no rips or tears in the upholstery. I am the second owner (both of us are nonsmokers) and bought the truck out of Texas. There is no body rust on this truck. The body is in good shape for a 21 year old vehicle with only a slight dent on the right rear bed side below the trim just in front of the rear bumper. Paint is original from 1994 and is showing the typical breakdown of the clear coat as most GM paint jobs this old will do. Factory wheels with Yokohama M+S tires and nearly 50% tread life remaining. I would estimate tread depth to be 5/16 to 3/8" tread depth remaining. I have full service records since I purchased the truck with roughly 150. 00 miles on it. Other than routing maintenance including oil and filter changes every 3k miles. the truck has had the following replaced within the last 3-4 years: New radiator. alternator. water pump. GR valve. distributor. in tank fuel pump. and throttle body rebuild including new gaskets and Idle air control solienoid. If it were not for needing a heavier truck for towing large trailers. I would not be selling this dependable truck. 4WD works great -- shift into and outof 4WD at highway speeds with no issue at all. One of the most frustrating aspects of buying a vehicle is not knowing what the flaws or issues are. In an effort to get it in front of you. I'm going to list a few minor issues so you are aware. BRAKE light is on. Truck brakes and stops normally and fluid has been flushed and replaced throughout the entire system. Suspect bad part is the proportioning valve. but I just have not had the time to tear into it. Replacement part is roughly $75. Oil drips. Oil cooler lines or possibly the rear main seal is suspect. The amount of oil lost is so insignificant. it really has not been worth the effort to fix. I put a sheet of old plywood in the garage under the truck and called it good. Over the course of a 3K mile oil change. the truck will be about 1/2 qt low and I'm sure its not burning any oil. Plugs are clean and there is no smoke. Exhaust. The tailpipe behind the muffler has some holes that just rusted through in the pipe bends. Exhaust joint at the muffler is loose too and rattles some on bumpy roads. Easy and simple repair. but left as is in case someone wanted to go duals with some great sounding Flowmasters. Few cracks in the dash top. No rattles in the dash at all. but the dash plastic does have a few cracks from age. Radio works. but only one rear speaker works. Have never tried the cassete player. so cant say one way or another on it. Power locks work. but from drivers door. they are slow to lock and unlock. Suspect failing actuator. Power windows work great. Driver's seat is power and works. but is slow to move backwards. Please email with any questions you may have. This is a nice truck for the age/year/model and has a lot of miles left in it.
