This particular car was built at GM’s Van Nuys, California plant then shipped to British Columbia, Canada. So, it has very desirable GM Canada documentation and has been well maintained its entire life. It is hard to believe that 1981 was 37 years ago, especially after you have taken a close look at this beautiful car. Build sheet certified and loaded with options. Equipped with its original code LM1 350 cubic Inch V-8, M-24 4-speed transmission, F-41 performance suspension, and GU4 3:08.1 posi-track differential, it was the top of the line performance Camaro of 1981. It also has lots of special options like power windows, rear window defroster, AM/FM/Cassette stereo, full console, pulse delay wipers, sport steering wheel, and tilt column. Outside, you will find all of the color keyed 15 inch wheels, spoilers, stripes, and badges of a Z-28. It also had the code K19 functional Air Induction rear draft hood scoop. When you punch the throttle the dual rear door opens up to let a shot of cool air into the factory air cleaner. The paint, interior, glass, and stripes are original on this car. The body is in terrific shape with only a small ding behind the right rear wheel and a few minor blemishes hear and there. This car looks as though you just walked up to in in 1982 or 83. Since it was originally sold to Canada, the mileage and odometer are in Kilometers (KM/H) and therefore, it’s odometer is showing 63,927 kilometers. Converted to U.S. mileage that is 39,723 total, original miles. There is plenty of documentation which helps verify that this mileage is true and actual mileage. This Z is truly a survivor! That term is being overused in the market today but this example is the standard and it is MCA, Gold Certified as a Concourse Winning Survivor by Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals of America. It scored 958 out of 1000 possible points as a Vintage Survivor (See Judging Sheets). What you see is exactly what the original owner saw with the exception of a few maintenance items, tires, etc. as you would expect. It runs, rides, and drives like a dream. It is tight and smooth like you would expect from a truly original, well kept, low mileage classic car. As with most classics, prices have been on the rise for the past several years. True, original cars are getting very hard to find in great, original condition like this one. We have lots of documents including the all-important build sheet, a Concourse Gold trophy from 2010, and a copy of it’s feature article in Corvette & Chevy magazine from 2010. This is a true, investment grade Z-28 you can show, drive, and enjoy. Please call us today with any questions or to make an offer. Ask for Calvin. Cell: 832-289-5750 Thanks for looking at all of our cars! Sincerely, Carlyle Motors, LLC Houston, Texas 713-466-8630 sales@carlylemotors.com www.carlylemotors.com
