Car description

1966 Chevy C10 stepside. Finished the restoration Feb 2018. The truck was completely disassembled and restored from top to bottom. Nothing was untouched. Every part was brought down to bare metal and covered with epoxy primer. If it had any rust it was removed and new metal was welded in. The floors were perfect from the start. Cab corners, Rockers (inner and outer) were replaced. Engine is a new 292, Trans is a T5 from a 1986 S10 that was gone through before it was installed (for the overdrive) along with a new clutch and pressure plate (the speedo does not work, I never figured out the conversion). New wiring harness. New brakes and any component for the brakes including the stainless steel lines. New tires. The seat is covered in black leather. I used a lot of bed liner on this truck cause I want it to last. The underside, inner Fenders, Under the hood, Interior floor (underside of the dash and behind the gas tank) gas tank, all covered. The bed is poplar and covered (all the way around) with a exterior grade spar urethane. All new body gaskets, Door rubbers, window rubbers, fuzzies, ect. The truck is pretty much how it came from the factory with the exception of a few upgrades I made, like an HEI ignition, Brake booster, AM/FM radio with small speakers in the kick panels (no it does not have A/C). Everything on the truck was powder coated that could be. nothing was done with a rattle can! Stainless fasteners on the bed. I did not put wipers on the truck because I never intended on it seeing rain. The wind shield is new but the other glass is original to the truck and has some wear (I had no intention on building a show queen) the paint could use a cut and buff (not my thing so I didn't do it). Other than that this truck is absolutely amazing and needs to be driven. I included some pictures, But if there is something specific you want to see just let me know. I took a lot of pictures during the restoration and I probably have a decent shot of it.
