69 Camaro Pace Car

Survivor 69 Camaro Pace Car, has not been restored. Pretty much all original with a few exceptions. I can't make out the partial VIN on the oil filter side of the engine pad completely, but I bought the car as having the original engine and have no reason to doubt it. Pad stamp T0425HB and is the correct stamp. Turbo 350 transmission with correct build date code stamp on the side of the pan. The tranny partial VIN does not match the car VIN, (9 digits off), but the Camaro experts I've consulted with say it was more than likely either a factory stamp error, or the transmission was replaced before the car left the factory. (I just wanted full disclosure so there are no disputes if I sell the car, not a big deal to me as it is the date correct Camaro tranny for the car and works perfectly as it should). I can provide detailed pics to anyone interested. Original rear end with correct date stamp. .331 ratio, non-posi, 12 bolt. All sheet metal stamps I can find (fenders, qtr panels, trunk lid, hood, etc) correlate to the build date. To the best of my knowledge based on examination by an experienced paint and body man, it appears that a partial repaint was done many years ago on part of the front end and the trunk lid, (you have to look pretty close to see it) but overall, the paint still shines to be as old as it is. I will be glad to entertain any questions regarding the paint. The only parts I can see that have been replaced on the front suspension are the ball joints, everything else appears to be original. The rear leaf springs have been replaced but I have the original set that came on the car and they will go with it if sold. The car currently has Hooker, ceramic headers installed, (why I don't know, but they were on it when I bought it) but I have a set of correct style GM stock manifolds that are ready to bolt back on. The fuel tank had been replaced when I bought the car and the fuel gauge wasn't working, so I dropped the fuel tank and replaced the sending unit, problem fixed. The fuel gauge as well as all the other console gauges work as they should. In dash tachometer and speedometer also work properly. Headlight doors operate as they should by vacuum. The only other thing that has been replaced in the interior is the carpet, which had been replaced when I bought it. It currently has a stock looking, fully electronic radio that has AM/FM and it works fine, and I also have the original Delco AM radio that came in it. The convertible top rear plastic glass assembly has been replaced, but the top itself appears to be original. Seats, door panels seatbelts, console, dash pad, etc, are all original. Seats have no tears and show no signs of having been recovered. There is one small spot of surface rust on the driver's side front fender as seen in the pics. I can provide additional pics if needed. Overall, just a solid survivor car that shows patina in all the right places. I'm sure I have left out some info, but will be glad to answer any questions. No surprises with this survivor car. No trades at this time.
