1977 Chevrolet Corvette!
1977 Chevrolet Corvette Sport Coupe
Low Mileage - Extremely Clean - Matching Numbers

You are viewing a privately owned 1977 Chevrolet Corvette!
Classic Cars Online is helping the owner with the presentation and listing of this vehicle.
You will be purchasing this vehicle directly from the private owner who has owned this vehicle for the last 17 years.
The owner has his own auto repair business and knows these vehicles inside and out.
Mechanically, the vehicle can be driven anywhere without any worries. It needs nothing. It comes with no excuses or stories.
I know there are a lot of Corvettes out there to choose from, but it would be hard to find another one in better condition that hasn't been modified or played around with.
It is powered by its original matching number 350 cu. in. engine. If you are looking for a true, super clean, stock Corvette with low mileage and a great color combination, here it is.
Bid with confidence!
We will try to describe and go over the vehicle, please read and view all of the 86 pictures listed below.
Would you buy a car on ebay with four pictures and one paragraph of description? NO.
That is why at Classic Cars Online, our listings will go over and show every area of the vehicle that is up for auction.
Thanks for looking.

1977 Chevrolet Corvette Paint / Body: The vehicle was repainted in 2000 in its original "Silver Metallic" color. (Code: 13L) The paint is holding up very well without any cracking, checking, shrinking or fading. It has a nice shine. The fiberglass body is straight without the typical waves. There are no signs of any body panel repairs or damaged areas from any past accidents. The front end and lower rocker areas don't have any of the typical road rash or stone chips. Just by looking at this vehicle, you can see it was always taken very good care of. The chrome door handles are nice and not all scratched up or pitted. The removable T-Top panels are in very nice condition along with the surrounding trim moldings/hardware and weatherstripping. The vehicle has its original T-Top storage bags. The vacuum operated headlight doors work great with no problems. The optional "Sport" outside mirrors look great.
Interior: The interior was redone when the vehicle was repainted in 2000. It received new door panels, leather seat skins, carpet, seat belts and door sill plates. It was redone in its original color. "Smoke-Gray" (Code: 15C) The only thing that is different is the seats were upgraded to all leather instead of the cloth inserts like the original seats had. The interior is holding up very well with only some very minor wear if any. The dash pad is nice without and cracks, splits, or fading. All of the factory gauges are working correctly including the clock. (These clock typically stop working.) When the interior was being redone, the owner swapped out the speedometer/odometer unit because it wasn't working properly. The current odometer is showing 54,300, but the actual mileage is around 78K. The rest of the electrical items are working great like the lights, wipers, horn, blower fan, etc.. The factory radio was upgraded to an Alpine AM/FM disc player with 4 speakers. The Air Conditioning (R134) is working and blowing cold. The vehicle also has power windows, a factory alarm system which is also working. (Key lock in front fender) The leather wrapped steering wheel was replaced and is still in excellent condition without any wear or marks. It is mounted on the optional tilt and telescopic steering column. It has matching color carpeted Corvette logo floor mats.
Engine Compartment: Under the hood sits the original 350 Cu. In. 180hp V-8 engine. Code: CLA (Matching numbers, See Photo #86 with engine stamp pad numbers.) The engine compartment is original and stock looking. Back in the year 2000, when the current owner (A certified mechanic) got the vehicle, he knew it needed a new cam. He removed the engine and install a new "stock" camshaft and lifters. The valve stem seals were also replaced at that time. There are approximately 2500 miles on the vehicle since this work was done. While the engine was out of the vehicle, it was cleaned and painted. The engine compartment was also painted and detailed. After all this work was done, the original engine was reinstalled under the hood. It is coupled with the original Turbo-Hydra automatic transmission that is also working flawlessly. The car also received a new radiator along with belts and hoses. The factory carburetor was gone over and rebuilt. The alternator was replaced. The owner is very meticulous and I can assure you that he always properly maintained and pamper this vehicle like he does with all his classic cars.
Glass: All of the tinted glass pieces are in excellent shape. The windshield is nice without any chips or wiper marks. The power windows are working with no issues or problems.
Wheels and Tires: The car has P225/70R15 Firestone "FireHawk" tires. These raised white letter tires are in nice shape with plenty of tread. The spare tire also matches the four other tires on the vehicle. The tires are mounted on the factory rally wheels. The wheels along with the original center pieces and trim rings are in excellent condition. Very little if any pitting, scratches or dings. The vehicle drives true and straight without any vibrations or pulling. The master cylinder was replaced. The hand brake (Parking brake) does not work.
Undercarriage: The underside is stock and original looking. When looking at Corvettes, the frame and undercarriage is very important. This Corvette is solid and rust free. It never needed to have any rust repair work done. The "dog legs" and trailing arms pockets are solid. If the vehicle needed anything, the owner did it. The shocks, u-joints, calipers and misc. bushings have been replaced over the years. The exhaust system looks to be stock with the factory catalytic converter and dual mufflers out the rear. It is in great condition with no holes or weak rusted areas. The car sounds awesome.
Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why there are a few pictures of the bottom.

Failing to mention for example an item such as a small paint imperfection, a minor non-safety related item such as a switch etc, does not constitute refusal of the vehicle by the buyer. We require you to put in writing via email or fax the material misrepresentations in order to receive a refund of your deposit. Taking a few photos of the misrepresented area for us to see, will help point out and confirm your concerns.
