Car description

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport L30 (327 / 275 H. P. ) and M20 (4 Speed) options Camaro Research Group estimates 7. 02 total L30/M20 cars built in 1967. which includes coupes. convertibles. standard Camaro. and Rally Sport Camaro. 64. 4% of 1967 Camaros were Coupes. Only 29. 4% of all 1967 Camaros were Rally Sport (RS) equipped. Therefore. it can be estimated that only 1. 26 Camaro Coupes were L30/M20 and RS equipped. Going further. 16. 5% of Camaro's were Bolero Red and only 8% of Camaro's had the red interior. Taking into consideration the engine. transmission. RS. and color options. it is estimated there were only 17 - L30/M20 RS cars built in these colors. The car is numbers matching and is documented with the original Protect-O-Plate warrantee booklet that confirms all numbers match. Engine. transmission. rear end. paint colors. seat belts. etc. all match. See worksheet attached below. It is a "nut and bolt" restoration and is very clean everywhere. Everything works on the car as it should. It runs and drives great. The car currently has an AM/FM cassette radio installed. but the original AM radio is included. 327/275 HP engines have identical specifications as the 327/300 HP engine in the Corvette. This car is strong. Some small items are not original to the car: carburetor is a replacement. radiator and voltage regulator. I have a numbers date matching alternator that I have not installed yet that goes with the car. It has been rebuilt and tested. Also. I have a numbers dates correct starter motor. It will need to be rebuilt. but goes with the car. The prior owner replaced the original type radiator when it started to leak. He said that he wanted to put the best radiator he could buy back in it. so he put a $700. 00 aluminum radiator in it. He did not care about originality. The original walnut type steering wheel is in nice shape but has a couple of cracks. I have a reproduction replacement still in the box that goes with the car too. I may have it installed by the time of the sale. The paint is excellent as is the interior. On a scale of 1-5 with a 1 being perfect and a 5 being a basket case. No car is perfect. but I would rate this car as a 1. This is a very rare car that is in excellent condition and has supporting documentation. 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 124377L139331 1 Chevrolet 2 Camaro 4 8 Cylinder engine 37 Coupe body 7 1967 model L Los Angeles.
