Car description

This is a perfect project truck. or drive it as-is. It has that just-right desert patina that just can’t be replicated. as well as all of it's original exterior stainless trim. This truck has the desirable big back window. It has spent its entire life in Arizona. and is rust free with the exception of the minor rust in the typical Chevy areas shown in the pictures. The original engine and transmission were replaced with an early ‘70’s 250 CI straight six and a turbo 350 automatic transmission with a Hurst shifter. The engine doesn't smoke and has good compression. The transmission shifts solidly and the fluid is clean. All of the original engine and transmission mounting points on the frame are still intact as well as the original clutch pedal. It runs and drives good. having just had a complete tune–up and carburetor overhaul. The radiator is leak-free and solid and the coolant is nice and green. The non-power brakes stop great and the manual steering is pretty tight for one of these old trucks with nothing excessively worn. At some point. the passenger’s door had a minor dent repaired with body filler (see picture) but can be easily repaired properly. The front lower fenders have some rust. although the inner panels look good there. Also. there is one rust hole about 1”x2” on the floorboard. Other than that. the truck is super solid. The bed. rocker panels and cab corners are all perfect and rust free. The inside of the bed is nice and straight with no cargo damage. Only the radio hole has been cut. otherwise the dash is perfect and unmolested. The bed wood was soft and was removed. All of the bed strips are still there. The tires have 75% tread. but they are not real wide whites. There are dual saddle tanks. but I have not used them and cannot vouch for their condition. I used original tank behind the seat and the gauge works fine. The speedometer cable will need to be replaced. The reverse light lenses are missing. but all of the others are there. I’ve done my best to represent this truck as it really is. but feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you might have. Thanks for looking. The buyer is responsible for shipping. I will make a reasonable effort to assist getting it loaded. $500. 00 deposit required via Paypal or bank transfer within 24 hours of purchase. Balance due within 5 business days.
