ATTENTION- PRIOR TO PLACING A BID, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE PURCHASE AT AUCTION'S END! YOU RUIN THE AUCTION FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED, ESPECIALLY THE TOP 3-4 BIDDERS, IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY. TRUTHFULLY YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS BIDDING! IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE CASH TO BACK UP YOUR BID(S)-YOUR FINANCING SHOULD BE IN ORDER PRIOR TO EVER PLACING A BID, NOT APPLYING FOR IT AT THE BANK AFTER YOU'VE WON THE AUCTION WITH YOUR HIGH BID AND AFTER THE AUCTION HAS ENDED. ALSO, GET THE WIFE'S/SIGNIFICANT OTHER'S PERMISSION IF THAT'S WHAT'S REQUIRED IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD PRIOR TO BIDDING! AS I'M SURE YOU CAN IMAGINE, IN OUR YEARS OF BUSINESS, WE HAVE HEARD MANY, IF NOT ALL, OF THE EXCUSES TO BACK OUT OF A DEAL-PLEASE DON'T WASTE OUR TIME AND I PROMISE WE WON'T WASTE YOURS.

Selling here with NO RESERVE is our 1955 Chevrolet body and stock original frame that it's currently on in the pictures along with the all brand new turnkey chassis that is pictured. I recently acquired this car from a longtime customer of ours and he let me know very quickly that he had spent a fortune on this one-to the tune of over $35k! He purchased each piece separately and paid labor along the way to each of those with a hand in the build, respectively, for what's been done plus the cost of the body and stock frame to start with, so I could see where you'd end up with a ton of money in it-we all know that feeling as car guys (and gals). You start out expecting to spend $20k and before you know it, you're $35k in with money still left to spend. This is where he decided to stop. The car actually lacks VERY little to stick together and drive as-is and if I were keeping the car for myself, I would do exactly that-build it like an old school hot rod. You know how it is though, I have too many projects myself and not enough room for all of them. It will be one WICKED hot rod! Let's try to go over what all has been purchased/assembled/installed for the build, per the previous owner:
Brand new with break-in time only- 650HP 496 Big Block Chevy with brand new GM squareport LS-6 high performance castings with all new Comp Cams springs, retainers, and keepers. Manley stainless Pro-Flo valves. The block has ARP main studs and ARP head bolts. It has a SCAT crankshaft, Eagle I-beam rods with ARP bolts, and Sealed Power forged and coated pistons with Hastings plasma moly file fit rings. It has a Lunati custom grind camshaft and Lunati lifters with Lunati pushrods and Lunati alumium roller rocker arms. It's topped off with a Weiand dual plane intake for nice street manners, but with a powerband extending all the way to 6800 RPM-the best of both worlds! It has a Fluidampr balancer and SFI flexplate with ARP flywheel bolts. It has brand new Billet Specialties black powdercoated valve covers and brand new black MSD plug wires. It's running an MSD distributor also. Might I add, she sounds REALLY NASTY through the brand new thermal coated headers, full 3" exhaust and single chamber 3" mufflers!
The transmission and torque converter are both all new with idle time only and are high quality components as well. The transmission has all TCI internals, even their valve body with a reverse manual shift pattern and their deep pan. It also has a TCI Pro-X 3500 stall converter in it so it's still drivable on the street-much more stall than that and they become uncomfortable to drive. 3500 stall or so seems to be a sweet spot with these Big Block ground pounders. It's mounted on a brand new powdercoated transmission crossmember.
The rearend is a brand new narrowed 9" Ford with a spool and brand new Richmond ring and pinion (4:10 I think?) with brand new Strange axles and all new bearings and seals. The driveshaft is new with new u-joints as well.
The fuel system is all new with a Holley billet mechanical pump (cost big $$$$ and made for high HP), AN fittings, stainless braided lines, and aluminum fuel cell mounted to clear the trunk pan with a manual shut-off gate valve if needed---I think it's pretty well thought out in the event the fuel system ever needs serviced since it has a mechanical pump!
The turnkey chassis is basically all new and has been plated or boxed in the weak areas in the rear with the full intention to apply the entire 650HP the 496 makes to the ground. A shock crossmember was added in the rear above the rearend housing. The chassis has tubular upper and lower A-arms out front and with brand new Wilwood brakes and 2" dropped spindles and powder coated lowering springs (Approx 3" lower in the front) The rear has lowering springs with all new polyurethane bushings and brand new matching Wilwood brakes as well (Approx 2" lower in the rear). The car will have a super tough, aggressive stance with the lowering and the really nice wheel and tire package that are on it! It has all new shocks front and rear as well.
It has all brand new RaceStar Industries DragStar wheels- 18x5" wheels on the front with Mickey Thompson 28x6x18 Sportsman tires and 17x10" in the rear on brand new Mickey Thompson 315/35/17 drag radials-I'm sure the drag radials will be begging for mercy with that turned up Big Block Chevy heating them up!
I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting as there's so much to detail in a description like this on an all brand new build-if I think of anything else, I will edit the ad as the auction moves along with the revised description.
As you can see, there's not really been any corners cut so far and as far as I know, only high quality components used. This build/project is being sold AS-IS/WHERE-IS with NO WARRANTY whatsoever. You are WELCOME to come look the build over any way that you like if you'll give me a call and schedule with me. Please ask ANY AND ALL questions prior to placing a bid and make sure you have the funds available to follow through with the purchase at the auction's end if you are the high bidder. I will do my best to respond to your questions in a timely manner. A $1,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end from the winning bidder to ensure that you are a legitimate, serious bidder along with a phone call in that same 24 hour period to make me aware of payment and transport arrangements. I will only accept wire transfer or cash for this transaction and the car and related chassis/ parts WILL NOT leave my property until payment has been received (CASH) and/or withdrawn from the bank (WIRE TRANSFER). If you have an eBay feedback of less than 20, please contact me and we will speak on the phone prior to your bidding. Failure to do so COULD result in bid cancellation for any bid you submit. Again, please ask any questions you may have PRIOR to the auctions end. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET AN UNBELIEVABLE DEAL AS I AM LETTING THIS ONE GO WITH NO RESERVE!!! GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!
