Car description

1986 Monte Carlo SS 1 owner special ordered vehicle with only 5,237 original documented miles since new!!!

Hello everyone, this is a auction for a beautiful original 1 owner from new 1986 Monte Carlo SS. Before I get to far into the description I wanted to mention that there areabout 125 full page pictures below the description. Also if anyone has any questions please feel free to call me directly at 717-675-4179. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

The car is still on its original 1986 Pennsylvania title in the original owners name. Comes with every piece of factory and dealer paperwork you can get (original window sticker, original build sheet, original assembly line paperwork, dealer paperwork, all original manuals in plastic pouch and original dealer brochure).

Mr. Wargo went into Ron Davidson Chevrolet in Ebensburg, Pa (which is still in business today)in early January 1986 and special ordered a new 1986 Monte Carlo SS. His dad had a white one and he loved that one so he wanted to get one too. He wanted a special color combo with only a couple options he cared about. He wanted 79U D/Red Metallic (what everybody calls Burgundy metallic) with Gray interior instead of the usually found Burgundy interior when you got Burgundy on the exterior. He also only wanted of course the SS option, Limited slip 3:73 rear, Air conditioning, delay wipers, tinted glass, speaker systemand 55/45 front seat and that was pretty much it.

The car arrived at the dealership in February and was picked up by Mr. Wargo on February 11, 1986. He always kept the car garaged and only drove it on nice sunny days very sparingly and NEVER in the winter.

The car was never abused he was in his 30's and was a family man in 1986 as well as this was the extra car and not the everyday vehicle.

The car wasNEVER in an accident or even a fender bender. The original sheet metal, front and rear bumpers, near all paint, suspension, exhaust and even the tires are all original. The original paintshines and is in incredible condition top to bottom. There was a small blend on the hood and trunk lid but matches great and cant even tell just want to be honest. There are no dings or dents. The body is very straight. There was never any scuffs on the bottom of the front spoiler like most had at one time but not this car take a look at the full page pictures below. There is no sagging of the doors. The entire weather-striping is very soft pliable and seals nice.

Everything works on the car like it did in 1986. This is one of those cars you just turn the key and pump the gas once and it starts right up and sits there and idles perfectly. The car drives down the road straight withNO pulling or shaking when the brakes are applied. The car shifts through all the gears firm with no delay. When you hit a bump in the road there is no funny noises its nice and soft. The tires are the original Goodyear Eagle which are excellent with no funny wear and no cracking or dry rot. The entire exhaust and clampsare also original and still has the black paint that the factory put on the tailpipes. Even the headlights, hoses, plug wires and belts are 100% original.

The interior is inexcellent condition, as well, with no fading or rips. The car looks as if no one has ever sat in the car. There was NEVER any smoking in this car. Ashtrays and cigar lighterare unused.

I do show all of the original paperwork at the bottom of the 125 fullpage pictures below.

Now lets get to the pictures...

I hope everyone enjoyed the pictures.

Again if anyone has any questions please feel free to call me directly at 717-675-4179. Thanks for taking the time to view this auction and have a great day...
