Car description

1963 CorvetteSplitWindow

This car is a racing survivor. It has been in theTexasarea all its life.I have a letter from the prior owner listing the previous owners. He states that the car was raced in "gas class" or "competition eliminator”.The owner, I purchased if from, ran it in a bracket class from 1986 to 2017.The engine (if I have it correct) is a small block 427 with a two speed powerglide. There is a Dana 60 with 4:88 gears.I saw tickets of the split window running 10.1 quarters. The car fire's right up and runs great.

I always wanted to run a bracket car and was super excited when I purchased the car. I am still super excited to run the car, but reality set in over the winter and if I was going down the track and blew a tire or didn't brake in time; I could possible wreck a rare car. So, I have hopes of it finding a home that will build it.

The car is from a no-title state, so it never had a title. Bad news is, when the stripped the car down, they took out the cross beam with the vin and trim tag and tossed it. So, the frame is original to the car (my understanding) and there should be a vin stamped on the frame. I have not looked for it and cannot guarantee it is there. I had to state some title on ebay, so I put reconstructed. Ebay should have a space to state missing title or no title.

There are small wheel tubs on the back. The front end is set up to tilt forward; thus, making a cut in the front surround. All the chrome is there for the back window, inside and out. There are headlight buckets, but no internals. The dash overall is there, but I have no original parts to go with the car.

Bid with confidence. Bid to buy, not look.

A $200 deposit is required at end of auction. The deposit is nonrefundable. The car is advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
