Car description

OFFERING A 1972 CHEVELLE WITH SOME GOOD STUFF! The red paint is very nice driver quality, black Super Sport stripes, cowl hood, 455 engine, Turbo 400 automatic transmission, 12 bolt positive traction rear end, Rally wheels and nice black interior with bucket seats. This car is done in a Muscle Car style, it has latter bars on the rear end, positive traction. SS strips added. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK, ONE INSIDE INDICATOR IS OUT! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! WIPERS... WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! HORN NOT WORKING! GAUGE IN POD UNDER DASH! ORIGINAL RADIO NOT WORKING! HOW IS THE PAINT? Very presentable paint, I consider it upper end driver quality. By that I mean you done see defects unless you look with a critical eye. The body is straight when I look down the sides, I see no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. I do see some touched up chips if I look for them. The paint shines good, a little orange peel on the lower panels, but decent paint, its just no roll out of the trailer show queen. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good upholstery on the bucket seats and back seats, I see no hole or wear. Carpet is good, package tray good, door panels not new, but decent, dash pad good, headliner looks new, but needs pulled tighter. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It starts good, I hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. It is not the original engine, it is a 455 Oldsmobile put in by last owner. Its a perfect fit, motor mount and transmission bolt right up. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a Turbo 400 automatic, I fell no slip. HOW IS THE REAR END? Its a 12 bolt positive traction with about a 3.35 gearing. Its lower than stock, but good for power. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers are original and have some dulling and pits. Other chrome good. HOW IS THE GLASS? No cracks, no milky areas, good glass. Heater hoses are not connected past owner was going to put AC on. HOW ARE THE WHEELS? Rally wheels with good Daytona white letter tires. HISTORY: I can not tell you much, I bought the car from a dealer friend near Cincinnati.

WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens,Tennessee 37303.
