If you follow our business... you already know ...that I am partial to high HP Pro-Street builds... but you may not know ...that I am also Absolutely"In-Love"with"Tri-Five" Chevy's ('55, '56 & '57)... with ...'57 being the Ultimate. S C R E A M S Q U A L I T Y ! !So ...as Paul Harvey (for those of you who remember him) would say "Here is the rest of the story": I mentioned above that I spent about 2 weeks researching this car and in the Documentation I had, I learned that it was originally owned by a gentleman right here in Florida. However, when I Googled his name, I came up with his Obituary.But ...I also noted that he was survived by a son of the same name who still lived here in Florida... and ...I was able to locate him. Bottom Line .................His father had owned the car since 1989 and had raced it for many years.You see ...he owned a Classic Chevy Parts company and Hot Rods and Racing... was ...in his Blood. However, around 2003 - 2006 he decided to build this57 Chevyinto the ultimateStreet Legal, Pro-Street Race Car / Show Car. And with owning a Classic Chevy Parts company... cost ...was absolutely no concern... since ...it would also serve as the ultimate example of the use... and ...application of their parts. Once the car was completed... it was never raced ... and ...only trailered to shows. It's most notable... WIN ...was the"National Super Chevy Show" where it was judged 987 Points out of a possible 1,000 and won the ......................."P l a t i n u m A w a r d" !!!It was eventually sold to a major Tri-Five collector who traded it 2 years ago (for a real COPO Camaro valued at over $100,000) to the collector I got it from.Now a Personal note:This car is verystreet-able.
