Car description

Get first dibs on this 1963 Chevy Nova Super Sport Convertible. One and only year the SS was available in a Convertible. Numbers matching car. Super rare. Send me a text. I will accept cash or certified funds. I own this full outright pink slip in hand. I don’t mind answering questions but no joy rides. Price is fair I have about 31k into it. I have people and can help if you need it transported anywhere in California and will assist in making sure you get it anywhere in the USA. This is a REAL Chevrolet Chevy II Nova 400 L6 convertible Super Sport, one year only model. Very few were made in Willow Run, Michigan this car built in the third week of October 1963 was car number 3994 speculation now reports only about 11,500 were optioned with Super Sport and likely 25% of those are likely in the junk yard as '63 is the first year for the Nova SS and the last year for Nova convertibles. I've had this beauty for 4 years and sadly as my family priorities have changed I have to let her go. I've been through the entire car now with over $31k invested. Complete tear down body work, rust removal and paint inside and out in 2017. Restored in Chevrolet Arctic White and full Black interior with the Super Sport Argent Silver rear trunk cove. Trimmed with the original Super Sport stainless steel side molding and correct Super Sport peak molding. Full restoration back to as original factory as possible. Full unmolested show car. The original color was Cordovan brown and the interior was optioned with Saddle vinyl bucket seats.

This original High-Thrift 194 straight six engine is original to the car. It was manufactured in June 1963 and provides delightful pep and great fuel economy in combination with the original 2 speed Powerglide. Optioned with the "comfort and convenience package" with Power Steering and Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. The original Rochester carburetor has been professionally rebuilt. New thermostat and gasket, new temperature sending unit, valve cover and lifter gaskets, new champion radiator with all new hoses, new fuel pump, new oil pressure sending unit. Shaft up all new distributor, new plugs perfectly gapped to specifications, new ignition coil, new spark plug wires, rebuilt power steering pump, band new gas tank and bolts to strap it in, new fuel sending unit. Brand new interior new bucket and rear seat upholstery, new door panels new kick panels, new body by Fisher door jamb chrome, full new carpet, new window cranks and door handles. New windshield, new weather stripping for the windshield, windows, even the vent windows, doors, hood, trunk, and all of the convertible top. Fully replaced and new convertible top. New door handles and window cranks. New Shift knob, factory SS console with LED conversion courtesy light for back seat. Additional lighting with LED under the bucket seats and under the dash. Convertible top boot cover Super Sport gauge package in working condition, however the clock does not work. Comes with owner's manual and 2 GM shop manuals that cover the whole car. Rides exceptionally well on brand new Hankook Optimo Whitewall tires with matching spare with original jack and tire iron. Everything that has been replaced has been done so with great attention to the original detail of the car. I kept this as period correct as possible.
