Car description

This incredibly nice 1991 Chevy Blazer is a true rare find. One of only 7,332 produced, the lowest production amount since the first year of Blazer in 1969.

This hard to find and stunning Bahama Blue two tone turns heads anywhere it goes and was originally purchased new by a gentleman and his wife to tow their Airstream trailer across country and was kept in the family until a few years ago when it was sold to the owner we bought it from.

The truck comes with the original Pa title from when purchased new as well as the original books/ owner’s manuals and the receipts for work that has been performed. It also comes with an open CT registration so that you can easily register it anywhere. The last owner spent over $2000 on the front suspension and the truck drives like a dream, with none of the clunks or creaks that you would expect from a truck of this vintage. At the same time the rubber body mounts were also replaced making the truck as quiet as the day it was bought new. Everything works on the truck including the power rear window and even the cruise control. The interior of this truck has to be one of the nicest original interiors you will ever find. Still retaining the factory color with only minimal sun bleaching after all these years as. The hard top has never been removed from this truck so it is still sealed as well as it was the day it left the production line. The exterior paint looks very nice and has a nice shine as you can see in the pictures. There is some sun damage on the roof where the paint has been baked and could use a new coat of paint or leave it as is and show how original this truck truly is. We have inspected this truck and can find nowhere that any factory panels have ever been replaced or repaired with filler. This truck is a true survivor from the factory floor mats to the spare tire that has never been removed this truck represents what a 1991 Chevy Blazer was in its day. Unfortunately the factory radio was replaced and we do not have the original unit. The radio and the tires are about all we could find that are not period correct.

The 350 engine and automatic transmission run exactly as they should and with this being a 1991 the truck is fuel injected making this a get in and go classic without the headaches and finicky issues carbs can cause. The power options are all in working order as is the factory air. The air has been updated from the original Freon system. The 4x4 and hubs are in working condition as well.

Now as an untouched 1991 this truck does have some blemishes and we will do our best to describe them. There is a small dent in the top of the roof on the passenger’s side of the truck. It may come out with paint less dent removal but due to the age and condition of the paint on the roof we decided to pass on trying to repair it at this time. There is also a small dent on the RF fender and it can be easily seen in the photos. There are some very early stage rust bubbles appearing on the rockers and at the rear where the tailgate hinges mount. Again please see photos. There is also a small hole in the inner wheel liner on the driver’s side that we have taken pictures of. This truck is not a 10 because it has not been redone but as an original 1991 this truck is of stand out quality with huge eye appeal. Please see all pictures and if you have a question or wish for better picture of something please ask. We will be showing this truck during the auction and will be allowing independent inspections at our shop for interested buyers.

Don’t miss your chance to buy a true piece of American history as these trucks are getting scarcer all the time.
